MEGA Halo Toy Vehicle Building Set, UNSC Mongoose Outriders with 130 Pieces, 4 Micro Action Figures and Accessories, Gift Ideas for Kids

The Mongoose Outriders is something of an oddity. Firstly, it has been VERY hard to get and, though it's been out for almost a year, is just now showing up on Amazon. $16 usd is retail, for those who may not know.The mongoose itself is very bright and wacky, being based off Halo Infinite's Citrus Ink coating. While it might not be everyone's cup of tea, it is pretty cool and can be modded using parts from Bazaar Battleground and Decisive Engagement sets, as per the official instructions.The figures is where this set really shines though. Included is a silver Yoroi Spartan with a Ravager, a Scorpion Punch Anubis with a Sidekick pistol, a gold Elite Ultra with a Pulse Carbine and a blue Brute Warrior with a scrap cannon. All of them look amazing. The Anubis is the standout for me, especially with that purple visor and prosthetic leg. Robo-leg looks awesome. It's great to get new colors for the Yoroi and Ultra too and the Brute is just solid all around.Oddities are the sometimes spotty QC, i.e the hands not holding weapons well (though most of the issues can be fixed yourself) and also the Elite has the old hands and not the two-finger hands that Mega has been using for their new Elites.If you can find this for its retail price of $16, I highly recommend. While not an army builder, this set packs quite a punch and is a well rounded battle-in-a-box, which makes it a great starter set for a new collectors.

Terrible price, but it was worth it for the figures. I know this is a weird set, and has been hard to find. Mine came with the golden ultra and scorpion Anubis having defective arms, but other than that came well. (In my picture I gave him the new hands but he doesn’t come like that!)

The product was pretty good but then when I started inspecting the minifigs the joints were loose on the Spartan lanugo then the hand on the Spartin Anubis was broken and the brute warrior hand kept falling off. The elite ultra was the only one that was in great condition only one problem the hand were not elite hands and were human hand molds

Had a few pieces missing, but was able build.
