Having had many of these hubs at a much higher price and quality range , don’t let this one pass you by as it’s actually priced very well and of decent quality . I never really had a issue with the chord length on these they all are within 4-6 inches , this product does indeed output 4K@60fps via HDMI , the type-A 3.0 ports are actually 3.0 and transfer data at the proper rate , the Tf & Sd card readers work well too! These are pretty straight forward devices and as I said I’ve had many and don’t really “fail” unless damaged in shipping or they are faulty. That said, if there were 2 things I would change is although decent quality but not a heavier graphite feeling as others I’ve had , it feels like it would not survive a drop like others I’ve had but the price was great and I travel bag would’ve been cool to throw in like many other sellers/ stores/companies do. The second being these devices are notoriously inaccurate when it comes to the Ethernet speed rated up to a gig per sec , no way, even the premium hub I have at best sit at 800mbps down & 780 up while this one here realistically is around 300mbps down and 280 up and my network is blazing fast because I run servers and work in tech just to be general . So other than the speed issue which really isn’t a big deal at all for average users , this device is a steal for the price. Basically if they threw in a small cheap travel bag it would be perfect. It’s a god product.

It's been over a year since I purchased this USB C HUB, and up until last night I had only used the SD card reader and one of the USB-A ports to connect an optical drive so I could install some programs that require a CD to install, and to listen to CDs. (I know. He still listens to CDs? I have the USB HUB and an optical drive taken out of a desktop PC, so why not?). Since I hadn't needed any of the other interfaces, I decided to wait until I used all, or at least most, of the different interfaces. Having done that, I'm finally writing a review. I wanted to view two programs at the same time last night, so I needed a monitor. Splitting the programs on my screen would have made both programs too small to be useful, and switching back and forth between them would have driven me crazy. The have two unused monitors, and they both have VGA ports, so I couldn't connect them straight to my PC. I connected one of the monitors to the VGA interface on the USB HUB, turned it on and I had a second monitor. I went ahead and tested the HDMI interface using my wife's VGA to HDMI adapter to see if I could use the monitor that way and I could. I then tested the 3.5 mm headphone jack while playing a video to confirm that it worked, and it did. I was originally going to give this s two star review as none of the interfaces I just mentioned nor the headphone jack worked at first, but then I realized that I didn't have the USB HUB plugged into the correct port on my PC. Once I switched the connection, everything worked as it was supposed to work. All of the USB HUBs I've looked at all have this same issue, so this isn't a complaint about this specific item, it's a complaint about all of them. They all have a 6", (152.4 mm) power cable. This made it difficult to position the HUB in a way that the cable for the optic drive was routed so that there was no risk of damage to it, while being able to have access to the SD card reader and have an SD card inserted in it and not cause possible damage to it either. A longer cable would allow me to mount it further away from the PC like I want to and lay it flat so there is easy access to all of the interfaces, even the VGA and Ethernet at the opposite end of the power cable. If I had a need to buy another USB HUB, I would not hesitate to purchase another one of these..

The multiple connections at the same time worked great. Charged other devices that use USB connect while using my IPad. tv connection, iPad Pro 11inch, keyboard & mouse wireless, beats pod to charge case, neck fan connected to charge as well. I use this everyday & take with me out in the field for work and travel by plan. It’s small size, gd fit for small purse. I feel the wear & tear is about right for time frame of everyday use. Note: once it broken it doesn’t work.

This is one of the only adapters that hasn’t failed me. It has just the right ports and the quality is decent. All the adapter ports still work including the one that connects to my MacBook Pro back when they made MacBook Pros with 10 c-ports and nothing else. So ridiculous that’s why my new one has a decent amount of connections. I highly recommend it. And I’m a teacher who uses it every single day in my classroom with my SmartBoard.

Works as expected. Plenty of different connections for most anything you'll need.

I was so excited for this since I have a usb mouse, usb keyboard, sound system, VGA monitor, and HDMI monitor, and was really looking forward to not having to unplug/plug 8 things in at one time. However, the hub does not support dual monitor usage with VGA and HDMI being plugged in at the same time. It only shows one video output, and therefore the monitors just mirror each other (despite reviews saying "it should work"). This takes away half of the functionality for a hub/docking station. Highly disappointed, as everything else works great, but the key reason I got it was to plug in one thing and go, and unfortunately this doesn't do it.

This is the second unit I’ve purchased. Very versatile and simple.
