Good product
I ordered GALLMET Heart-Plus because I have high blood sugar. I started taking 3 capsules a day according to the leaflet and after just a few days I noticed that the dizziness caused by my high blood sugar had eased. I quickly took out my blood glucose meter and measured a slightly lower level than before. However, the next morning my previous blood glucose of 8 had dropped to 7.4, I have been measuring it regularly for the last 2 weeks and it seems to be having a really positive effect, I will continue to take it!

Premium heart-care capsules
These Gallmet heart capsules come in a white plastic bottle with a plastic screw-top lid. They are off-white in colour and about average in size for health supplements.I have no problem swallowing the capsules with some water. They have no discernible flavour or smell, and I haven't noticed any after-taste or other unwanted side-effects from them. The capsules contain a variety of ingredients that may be beneficial for cardiac health. Some of these I was quite familiar with, including vitamins B6, B12 and B9 (folate). Others I hadn't really heard of before, including betaine and terminalia chebula (fruit peel extract). The capsules also contain chromium, an essential trace mineral that can improve insulin sensitivity, among other benefits. Each bottle contains 90 capsules. The recommended dosage is 3 a day, so if you follow this a bottle will last around a month. That does make it on the expensive side, in my view. It's difficult to assess the benefits of this supplement after only taking it for a week or two. But if you are worried about your blood sugar levels and/or cardiovascular health, it is certainly worth considering. Four stars from me.

A great source of TMG
These supplements work out to about £0.39 per capsule, and it recommends to take three per day.The main ingredient in these capsules is TMG, which is often used to increase the level of methylation in the body. From my research, the levels of methylation you experience does decrease as you get older, but someone in their early 30's (myself being 32) shouldn't need to significantly increase their methylation just yet, so a daily dosage of this supplement shouldn't be necessary for the average person until their 50's.With that in mind, I take TMG every other day, while my parents take a full dosage of three of these capsules per day.The main purpose of using this for me is to act as a methyl-donor, as I and my family take NMN which results in a decrease in methyl groups. This is especially important for my parents who are in their 60's, and is much more effective for them than for myself as they are 30 years older. We haven't found this to be a supplement that you *feel*, but the science is there to support its use.As normal, this is a pretty standard capsuled supplement in a recyclable plastic tub, and appears to be produced with good quality controls. For the price, it is worth the cost if you are either taking NMN or NR, and/or are over 50. If you are in your 30's like myself, it's questionable whether it's really necessary to take it, but as it is a very safe supplement to take I do take a capsule every other day as an insurance measure.

Capsules of unproven benefit.
I think it was reading one of the two information sheets provided with this 'food supplement' (they are not allowed to call it medicine) that rang the first alarm bell. The first sheet looks like the medicine information sheet you get at the Pharmacy, except it's not really. However it does suggest a minimum recommended dose - note minimum - but then goes on to give a dire warning about over dosing "will significantly increase cholesterol levels which is unfavourable". Minimum is 3 capsules, overdose 8. That was vague enough to arouse caution with this product. The other leaflet looks like it has detailed scientific data on the effeacy of the product, but in reality it doesn't. Says there's many studies that have confirmed all sorts of positive effects, although these are shrouded in vague language. There are references to alliating type 2 diabetes, Parkinsons, dementia, heart disease, long covid, tumours and cancers - all of which may respond positively to one or other of the components of these capsules. Of course, there's no detail on the actual studies, how they were done or a bibliography; dispite there being space for something on the leaflet. Instead you are pointed to their website for that information - which if it was there, I couldn't find. What is there is a selection of fringe medics, natropaths and similar. Nothing that inspired confidence. In short I doubt if these capsules have much benefit; I do however take note of the warning not to overdose. Because they may do something for someone I have given it two stars, but I would suggest that if you have the health concerns these capsules allegedly address, that you see your GP.

Great
The media could not be loaded. Have been taking for a few days and hopefully working. Have family history of heart problems so I'm hoping has some effect to help me. Well made and clear instructions

Good
I have taken them for a while, they don't have a funny taste or smell so they are easy for me to take.I can't comment on how effective they are but they are more of a prevention medication than to cure anything.

Worth a try if you can afford it.
I’ve been taking these for about two weeks so it’s far too early to comment on the efficacy or benefits of the product. The ingredients are all well known and there is a lot of information regarding research data available online. I can say that the capsules are easy to swallow and I have not experienced any adverse side effects, though it’s a bit of a fad taking three a day. There appears to be a slight reduction in my blood glucose levels but this could be co-incidental as there are too many other factors at play and, as I said, it's too early to assess anyway. I do think they are a little expensive though, especially as you can source the ingredients separately and it would cost less per month. For now, I’ll reserve judgement but if you can afford them then and you want the convenience then they are certainly worth a try.
