Works exactly as described!
Exactly as described!2 keysTook them to a local locksmith who charged $25 per key to cut.Programming was EASY! Put your old key in the car and start it. Turn it off. Take the key out. Put the new key and turn it (don't turn the engine over) and wait 10 seconds! Presto! Done! All the buttons and the key work! (Those were the instructions for my model car....may vary across models) **** must have the original key in your possession in order to program. All in all: very satisfied with the product!

Amazing!! Saved me $200-$400!
Bought my college student a new car and the buttons on 2 key fobs they gave were going out.The dealership quoted $200/key fob to cut & program ($400).Batteries Plus wanted $90/key fob to cut and program ($180).Ordered these $23 (tax included) and Batteries Plus cut each at $20/key fob. Watched a 1 minute YouTube video and programmed both keys in less than 30 seconds (SERIOUSLY!!). Total cost $65!

Exact Match for 2011 Chevy Equinox
I love the quality of how they feel and look. These were way cheaper than going to the dealership for replacement remotes! Unfortunately my 2011 Chevy Equinox does not have all of the features available on these fobs, but the compatability is great and it functions perfectly for what I do have. The response time is fast when you press the button to lock or unlock the car.

Works GREAT !
Should have gotten them earlier. Easy to swap out the insides and use the original key now. No more flipping the dang key fob to get the key out. Just simply tap the button and BINGO key is out and ready to start up my buggy.

Not for a 2019 Impala
For clarity of explanation of programming, I highly recommend the YouTube video by PYR automotive, “How to Program a Chevrolet Impala Smart key Remote Fob”. Couldn’t be explained any better. Still it’s easy to fail (Don’t forget to use the Fob to lock the car to finish the procedure). Allow a lot of time. Still perseverance will be rewarded.I think I tried three times before I got it right, but the first try was according to a different instructor. In all about 2.5 -3 hours for me. That was okay this time because I was hanging out in the Walmart parking lot while the wife was shopping. Actually made the waiting a little better. Before you try to program the fob you need to get it cut (copying) the cut from the other key I hope you have. Search for an “automotive locksmith”. Pretty sure it can’t be done by the box stores or kiosks. There comes a time in the procedure when all existing key fobs will no longer work. So you need to have them all close by for the programming. After my second attempt, I was in a car in the Walmart Parking lot Saturday night at 10:00, and realized I no longer had a working key for my car. A little bit of an adrenaline.Third time was the charm. Proved it when my old fob started working again. But the new one would only lock and unlock doors. It would not permit starting. Two came in the package. And I also have a 2014 impala. Which is different because it is not a push button start. Call me a glutton for punishment, I’m going to give it a try.As for the 2019, this afternoon I stopped at the dealer, provided the VIN, bought a GM fob and have confidence I will be able to program it after it’s cut. I suppose getting it cut could be considered optional. Problem is you don’t want to be locked outside your car with no power. Only time you ever need it to be cut.

Good Price - But, might be an issue with key flip/gear
So, the key fob comes with all the internal boards/battery - obviously need the key cut if needed. Here was the issue, the mechnaism that flips the key out; was cut different than what my orignal factory key had. So, I had to use the new key gear/spring. In this case, I had to knock out the pin that holds the actual key in on my old key/new one to put in my key. This is NOT an easy process if you have to do that.I wound up having to drill out the small pin hole because I could not punch it out. This is obviously not a fault of the seller of the key - but definately a flaw in design. The only reason I didn't give a good rating as this gears were not aligned/drilled the same as the factory - They were off by a little bit. (if I could've just taken my old key out and put it in the new fob; I would've had it done within minutes.)Other than that; the product is a great deal for the price.
