Prevents light-headed feeling while fasting, great for non-fasting days, too!
This has a nice blend of minerals, including many trace minerals. It tastes fine, just a little like sweat. If you don't like the flavor, just dilute it more.I used it while fasting and it made a huge difference. It prevents the light-headed feeling I normally get while fasting. It actually made my fasting somewhat pleasant.Even when I'm not fasting, I put a little of this is my water in the morning.I tried another product on Amazon named "Fasting Salts". It was a little cheaper and had higher reviews. "Fasting Salts" seems artificial and incomplete compared to this product. "Fasting Salts" just had three main ingredients with no trace minerals. "Fasting Electrolytes" has trace minerals from the pink Himalaya salt, plus from the icelandic stuff. Even though it's a bit more expensive, "Fasting Electrolytes" is well worth it!

WORKS
When I work outside when it is hot, my heart starts beating fast, I would have to sit down and couldn't work for a while. But since taking this twice a day, I was able to weed eat, for several hours without my heart racing. I have tried other electrolytes, but this is the first that has helped. It does have a salty taste, but it is bearable. I tried and like "Snake Juice" but it was way too salty. And this product has so many other minerals, so I am sticking with it. I highly recommend it.

Easy to use and nice flavor. This is now my 1st choice for Electrolytes. Less Expensive too!
One thing I love is that you get a little scoop and not have to rip open those little packages. One other thing is that there is more potassium than LMNT.As a carnivore, I take 2 scoops a day and I no longer have night cramps.

Made me sick
I still don’t fully understand what was going on with this product, but I fast a lot and every time I took this when needed it started to make me sick if I took it for more than a few days, straight dizziness, and it was always just a really weird feeling after taking it flushed it down the sink saved myself the trouble. Lmnt unflavored works like a charm.

A little goes a long way
Got this for my first fast. This stuff is very… mineral tasting. It’s buoy but jacked and tan. I would suggest a little goes a long way.

We all need a LOT of potassium. Get it here.
I'm on my third bag and will continue to reorder. First taste can be pretty rough, so ease into it. By the time I had used a quarter of my first bag, I was used to the taste and actually liking it, now I want it if I forget to take it, and if I still don't drop everything and do it, I tend to run out of energy. I drink it in plain water, but also in my chai. Highly recommended for anyone, fasting or not. This is the only electrolyte supplement that I've found that comes from pure and bioavailable sources and is compromised of the proper balance of potassium, magnesium, calcium and sodium in amounts that will satisfy human daily requirements. Did you know that humans require 4,700 mg/day of potassium? Now you do.

Wrong magnesium for a fast!
I purchased this product to have enough electrolyte mineral support during my 100-hour fast. Unfortunately, this product acts like a laxative so it goes right through you. I was about halfway through my fast when I started taking this. I used the remainder of my previous electrolytes the first two days with no issues. Within 30 minutes of taking this, I was running to the bathroom. I compared the ingredients of the two electrolytes and found that this one used Magnesium citrate and the other used Magnesium glycinate at half the dose. With a little research, I discovered that Magnesium citrate is used as a laxative. To lower the laxative effects of Magnesium citrate, it is recommended that it be taken with food. How is one supposed to take this with food if they are fasting?! Even though it is called Fasting Electrolytes, I do not recommend this product to replace your electrolytes during a fast!

It's pretty good, and has more potassium relative to sodium than most other similar products.
It has quite the array of minerals and trace elements, but the largest in quantity contained in the package is potassium, which is good. Some have stated that it is more salty than lmnt, which is impossible according to the laws of thermodynamics and basic physics. If you can do elementary math and ratios, you will see that it contains far more potassium relative to sodium, while lmnt has far more sodium relative to potassium. You don't even have to buy the product to find this out, the nutrition labels are available in the Amazon listings. Lmnt is not a good product for me because it contains too much salt relative to the rest of the minerals, and I get enough salt in my diet from food. This product called fasting electrolytes, I take it even though I'm not fasting. The extra potassium and magnesium help keep me from developing muscle cramps especially at night. The taste is not particularly good, it's just minerals and no sweeteners. But I add in small amounts to my lemon water throughout the day, or a little bit in my coffee. I'm pleased with the product, and will continue to order.
