Were are these still made in Germany? How come the current model does not say so on the actual Binoculars?

Most definitely made in Germany. Body is magnesium or aluminum for light weight and lens are either Swiss or German. Steiner supplies the US military with binoculars and other optical equipment for decades. I am a Ship Captain and I used to think Nikon binoculars were the best. The Steiners are excellent and in their own niche. You will not be disappointed and the great thing with Amazon is you may return it if anything less than totally satisfied. I have had mine for 3 years from Amazon and it's heirloom if cared for properly. It has the inbuilt compass and light. The compass has very little compass error when I last compared it to ship's gyro compass. Useful for bearings on sightings.

Technically, the Navigator Pro's are the better model. The Navigator Pro's are fully sealed for submersion protection up to 16ft, and have specialized coatings for reducing glare when viewing over water.

What is the difference with 7 x 50 marine model? if just hd stabilization, how much difference dues that make to a powerboat ocean fisherman/mariner?
