Once in a Lifetime
This 3 Disc set features the full Wrestlemania 28 event headlined by the first ever match between John Cena and The Rock as well as the entire 2012 Hall of Fame induction Ceremony headlined by the induction of Edge. As always the pre-show match is included as well as a DVD exclusive extra called The Rock "Great Ones" which features some Rock promos such as an interview before his debut at Survivor Series and an appearance on the highlight reel. They show his Royal Rumble victory in 2000 and there's two matches too. They're a worthwhile addition to the set considering how so much of this event was built around The Rock.**Bonus Match** The Rock vs. Triple H - This was a pretty good back and forth match between the two. It was from an episode of RAW from before these two were main eventing. Chyna and Mark Henry would get involved on more than one occasion but it never hurt the match. The ending was disappointing but it was still a good match that I don't think had been on DVD before.**Bonus Match** The Rock vs. Kane - The Rock was fighting as the underdog here as Kane was over powering him for most of the match. The Rock started to come back as the referee was knocked down but The Undertaker got involved on Kane's behalf. Mankind also came down and got involved. This was another fun match, not one of the best of Rock's career but he has his own DVDs for those matches.**Pre-Show Bonus Match** Primo & Epico vs. The Usos vs. Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd - This is a triple threat tag match for the tag team titles with three men in the ring at once. It was a fun match to start off with some good moments such as Tyson Kidd impressively taking down both his opponents off the top rope. It was kept quite short but it was fun.Now to the main show:Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus - This was the infamous 18 second match for the World Heavyweight Championship. It's worth watching but obviously at that length I can't say it's any good.Randy Orton vs. Kane - This was a pretty good back and forth fight. It was fairly even for most of the match. Randy Orton would repeatedly try to hit his RKO but Kane was ready for it. This match isn't anything you need to see but it was fun and entertaining.Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show - The Big Show was dominant in this one so Rhodes took his leg out and then targeted his leg and ankle to try and ground the giant. This was a very short match, it was decent while it lasted but didn't last long enough to be anything more.Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs. Eve Torres & Beth Phoenix - This wasn't very good, there was nothing worthwhile about it. I don't know who Maria is but this felt pointless, they should've just given Beth a singles match for her title instead.Triple H vs. The Undertaker - This is where the event really picks up, this was a Hell in a Cell match with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee. It's an amazing match with so much action and drama. The storytelling is incredible with Shawn Michaels being conflicted in whether or not to end the match, and just as he goes to end it Undertaker traps him in a Hell's Gate. Later on as revenge Michaels hits Sweet Chin Music which Triple H follows up with a pedigree in a great moment. There are so many near falls in this one as neither man is able to put the other away despite hitting their best moves, repeated chair shots and even a sledgehammer. This is definitely one of the greatest matches in Wrestlemania history. The three men leaving the ring together after the match is also a great moment that ends this match perfectly. The Miz, Mark Henry, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler & David Otunga vs. The Great Khali, R-Truth, Zack Ryder, Booker T, Santino Marella & Kofi Kingston - This was "Team Teddy" vs. "Team Johnny" to decide which general manager would run both RAW and Smackdown. This was about what you'd expect, it was decent, nothing was bad about it and there was some fun moments but it's nothing you need to go out of your way to see.CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho - This was for CM Punk's WWE championship and before the match Punk was told if he gets disqualified he loses the belt. Jericho spends the first part of the match trying to get under Punk's skin to make him angry enough to get disqualified. He hit a suplex to the outside which hurt Punk enough that he stopped trying to antagonise him and started targeting his back. The match then became a back and forth wrestling match with lots of great counters and moves leading to a really good finish for a really great match. The Rock vs. John Cena - Both men have a musical act perform before they enter the ring. When they start The Rock shows that he still had it which shocked Cena. Cena went after The Rock's mid section to try and wear him down. This was a really good back and forth match full of near falls and great moments. It wasn't a technical masterpiece but it was a very entertaining match that was worth the build up.I really liked this Wrestlemania, it was worth it really for the Hell in a Cell match alone, that was an amazing match that lived up to the hype. The WWE Championship match was also great and they had a really good main event. The first hour of the show didn't feel too good but once the Hell in a Cell match started it turned into a really great event, the only real disappointment of the night was Sheamus and Daniel Bryan not having a full length match as that would have been great too but the event we got was still really good.

Good for wrestling fans, lays the smackdown
Brilliant DVD pretty intense Hell in a Cell match that some people might find too violent but other than that it's clean, fun and enjoyable. Younger viewers will like the Brodus Clay segment that comes before the main event. Special features are also great.

You've got to see it!
Bought this mainly for the Triple H vs Undertaker match as in my opinion is one of the best matches ever performed. The show of shows is well worth buying with other great matches such as The Rock vs John Cena and CM Punk vs Y2J

Best WrestleMania in recent memory
This WrestleMania for me retained that level of amazement and excitement you used to have with watching WrestleMania that's been missing for years. To me the last most memorable WrestleMania was WrestleMania XIX, and WM 28 for me returned to the feel of the old times. Now going through the matches and my reviews for them.Match 1: Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan for World Heavyweight ChampionshipThis match should've arguably been one of the best matches of the night and the build up was quite good. Though WWE being WWE once again showed their true colours and cheated the fans by having Sheamus win in a matter of seconds and in the worst way possible, hands down the most disappointing match on the card and even I dare say in WM history, and definitely not the best way to start the event. 0/10Match 2: Kane vs. Randy OrtonAfter a disappointing start to the event this next match was actually pretty decent and good enough to get the fans in a better mood. The match was surprisingly good and was at a good pace with both opponents getting the best out of each other with some pretty decent spots. Overall for me the match could've been better, but given the original expectation for both wrestlers the match actually exceeded the expectations and did not disappoint. 6.5/10Match 3: The Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes for Intercontinental ChampionshipNow at first glance this match may seem like a squash match given the size difference. Nevertheless Big Show does well to carry Cody and to make him look good in parts of the match and to not make it look too one sided and the end result is a decent worth watching match but not on a big scale. 5.5/10Match 4: Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve TorresAh the celebrity involvement match and pretty much the "lemon" match of the night were the fans can go stretch their legs and don't even bother watching because they know it's going to be bad. Now the disappointment of the current diva roster and their matches as a whole already leads to this being expected to be a terrible match, now mix that with a "celebrity" involvement in the form of Maria Menounos who shouldn't even count as a celebrity. Anyway moving on the match itself as expected was a disaster with little to no effort being shown by the "celebrity" and the match itself being incredibly slow paced and boring and just no skill whatsoever by the divas and to add to that there are many botched moments in the match. 0.5/10Match 5: The Undertaker vs. Triple H "End of an Era" Hell in a Cell match with Shawn Michaels as special guest refereeNOW FINALLY the event takes a MASSIVE change of pace with the long awaited End of an Era match between The Undertaker and Triple with Shawn Michaels added to the mix as special guest referee. And if that isn't big enough the match is a Hell in a Cell, the match is definitely the match of the night with incredible performances from all wrestlers including even Shawn Michaels, making this an incredible emotion driven violent spectacle of storytelling unmatched and unprecedented making the fans hanging on every desperate punch and every blow from everyone involved in the match. The Undertaker's winning streak facing the biggest threat in his entire career making this match all that much more special as well as the match nickname "The End of an Era" being true as neither wrestler would ever again reach this high point in their careers. 10/10Match 6: Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy (12 man elimination tag team match)Now this one was surprising, the winning team would ensure a job as General Manager for both RAW and SmackDown for the leaders of the teams already makes it interesting. The match itself was pretty quick and fast paced although it was a disappointing match (although to be fair no match can top the previous match), there were good spots in the match but the ending was pretty disappointing albeit it led to a genius new chant for a certain diva i'm not going to mention. 4/10Match 7: CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho for WWE ChampionshipTo some people this is the match of the night (technical wise) with incredible skill and prowess shown by both wrestlers who bring their A-game in what is truly worthy of a WrestleMania main event match. Both wrestlers know each other very well and show immense talent and give an awe-inspiring performance with very good spots and very good manoeuvres leading to this being a very impressive match equal to the Taker/HHH match. 10/10Match 8: The Rock vs. John CenaThe long year awaited "Once in a Lifetime" match. Which pits one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and one of the original icons of The Attitude Era, The Rock against the current poster boy for the company and to many one of the greatest of this current generation and arguably of all time. This is a match made in heaven as many thought would never happen due to The Rock's acting career, though The Rock defied his critics and made a stunning return to the company a year earlier and led to this match taking place with a whole year as a build-up for this match. There was a whole years worth of hype going into this match and eventually the end result when the match finally took place it didn't disappoint. Although slow at times the match definitely go down in history as one of the greatest matches of all time, there were very solid performances from both Rock and Cena, although there were times were The Rock seemed winded and out of breath and not as good as he used to be. Though despite this The Rock still was good enough to silence his critics, as Cena to his credit seemed to carry most of the match and to make The Rock look good after seven years of being away, although this was the case The Rock still held his ground and put on a good solid performance and was believe or not much better than the majority of the current roster. 9.5/10Overall the whole event started off disappointingly but the good matches on the card made up for the very bad ones and weighed the final overall result of the event positively. And the event to me will be remembered as the best WrestleMania for years.Overall the whole event gets an 8/10, which could've been higher but the disappointing matches of the night brought down the rating. The DVD extras are packed with interesting stuff and of course there is the Hall of Fame so the extras is an 8/10 too.Overall it's a highly enjoyable event which i recommend to any wrestling fan, despite the bad matches on the card you won't be disappointed.
