Love these colors!
I love these pastel colors. I use the Fudenosuke pens for calligraphy a lot and up until I purchased these I only had black and regular colors. I love the pastels! Highly recommend!

Mixed feelings but super fun!
The media could not be loaded. I’ll go into details below, but in short I would say if you’re a beginner, these may not be for you. If you’re specifically looking for something to use on dark colored papers, there are other options that could work better.I’m a huge Tombow fude lover and user. I use their regular fudes daily, so I HAD to try these when I saw them. My initial thoughts were ‘wow, these are so fun!’ But then i tried them on more papers and got in depth a bit more. The ‘ink technology’ is awesome. I think if they keep working on the formula, these have soooo much potential. As is though, I have mixed feelings. My biggest quarrel is you kinda have to apply a second layer of ink to make it more opaque. But when you do this, it makes the original layer ‘disappear’ briefly. So you just have to be super careful and pay attention to where your original lines were. This is why I don’t recommend for beginners. With one coat alone, they are not very opaque (on darker papers). In the picture I took of them on black paper, the color swatches are two layers. Then I took a picture of one versus two coats for comparison. On white paper, the colors are very pretty, but I’m not sure they’re different enough from the original set.If you’re used to using the TB Fude hard nib, these are more similar to the softer nib version. Just keep that in mind when using :)If you’re like me and have been lettering for a few years and just excited to try these, then definitely go for it! They are definitely different than most things (I’ve found) on the market and fun to play with 🥰

These are awesome and only for light colored substrates
I love these pens I get them to color on white rocks. They feel so smooth when you write and they have a lot of ink like a spray paint can type of marker but they are not because they do not make noise when you shake them but they work so much better than regular markers and I can spray my polyurethane on top of them after 24 hours and it does not run. I love these pens. I have been using them since I first purchased them over priced in the store. This is the cheapest price you will ever find for them because they are priced accurately here on Amazon. Brick and mortar buildings are just trying to pay their rent so they increase their prices. You will fall in love with these forever. They also have a Easter colors packet. In my picture I use different markers for the turquoise blue background on that rock, and the turquoise blue throughout the other rocks and I used a different yellow for that Brown rock, because these pens were not dark enough. I have bought them twice. I’d like them so much.

Fudensuke Brush Pens have a special place in my toolkit!!!
I really enjoy the pastel pack of the Fudenosuke brush pens. They are really good getting into smaller areas for detail work. Another thing that surprised me is even though these are pastels, they do seem to darken a bit when they dry. This isn't a problem for me, but others might not like it. Test before use!

I didn’t know what to expect, but I was impressed!
Look at the bottom card in the photo to see these pens - top card was in the photo but used other supplies. These pens are great for brush lettering and are pretty fun to use. The color takes a minute or so to fully develop on a darker paper, so it’s kind of neat to watch! The pastel colors are nice and worked out well on my holiday cards. I can’t wait to use them on my next project(s)!

The white pen
Is basically useless. It doesn't show up on black paper or white paper so unless you're using it for blending...
