Great for keys
I use this for several things automotive. It has several functions, some of which I have not been able to get from any other unit such as getting the pin number to program keys on GM vehicles. With 3 years of updates and a platform that doesn't expire I think it is a good value. It is not exceptionally fast it does the trick well. Not hard to use just could be a little more intuitive. I like that it is always getting updates which means they are consistently improving it's abilities and compliance. I also like that it helps you diagnose through the Internet seamlessly. I have used to to diagnose problems with a hybrid vehicle so it's pretty versatile as well. It's worth getting the 12+8 link for Chrysler vehicles which is less than 30 bucks so you have it when you need it for FCA. I would but this again.

No doubt, this is the absolute best in it's class, hands down...
I’ve been a fan of Xtool diaganostic scanners since I moved away from using my previous consumer-level but high quality parts-store scanners, on to the professional equipment OBD-2 diagnostic tools. After much research, I chose to go with Xtool for a number of reasons. I am not a professional auto technician, but have been working on my personal vehicles which have included many makes such as Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Dodge, Jeep, Toyota, etc, along with family and friends vehicles, etc., as a hobby for over 30 years. To better understand my perspective: I am a professional researcher, information systems technologist and technical writer, so I am quite passionate and potentially a bit compulsive when researching major purchases! It can take me days to weeks of research because I want to be sure that I am making the correct choices based on my immediate and potential future needs as well. Ideally, when using technologies of any type, it's a good idea to future-proof your investment!Through this process, I have determined Xtool to be at the forefront of the market for which they serve. That is, from the novice to the advanced professional-level of diagnostics and repair. I have purchased and owned (4) of their products thus far, including the endoscope, D8, D8-BT, and now the D9 Pro. Each scan tool offers a higher level feature-set. The D9-Pro appears to stand out in having the highest number of Special Service Functions capabilities, along with the longest update terms of any other competitor in this class of tools. In addition, I continue to purchase their products because they provide the most solid and extensive features, update policy, and warranty, but most importantly customer service, in comparison to their competitors.Their customer service is responsive and provides outstanding product support, especially through this particular Amazon seller. You can actually purchase this product from several Amazon and/or Ebay sellers, but be very careful because they are not equal in terms of knowledge nor after-sales support. Some are not official sellers of the product and do not have a direct relationship with the manufacturer. This is very important. The developers are constantly providing updates which consist or new features, special functions, updates, etc. I once had a problem with a feature that was not working for my Mercedes E-550 Turbo Cabriolet. I contacted the this Amazon seller, Evy, which is actually a (tier-2 support) person with direct communications with the company. Within two-days, she was able to get a beta update sent directly to my (D9-Pro) that actually worked, the first time! On another occasion with the (D8-BT), that I typically let family members borrow (yeah I’m very generous), she was able to arrange for an Xtool technologist to connect with me (remotely) and view my screen to provide hands-on testing and support. As a professional technologist in the information technology field trust me when I say that this is extremely impressive and an important factor to consider. To avoid any potential problems and assure that you get the top tier support from such a considerable investment, be sure to purchase from the Xtool Store here on Amazon if you decide to purchase an Xtool product. This D9 is the best bang for the buck in my humble opinion.

Great tool and amazing support
I have purchased and used many scan tools and programmers throughout the years. This unit is hands down the most feature rich for the money. TPMS troubleshooting and relearning is a breeze. I didn't think the graphical tree and the wireless adapter was going to help all the much until I started using it. Reduce my troubleshooting time to at least half if not more on certain vehicles. Check the documentation before buying to verify if your vehicle is supported. Lastly, I was amazed at the responds time to my questions. You won't be waiting long for an answers. Great Job xTool!

I Approve can beat the price and the service
Honestly for the price it a mean scan tool. Like one my co workers 10k snap on scanner couldn't get into a Mazarati the other day and I was able to communicate and clear codes and do active test. They do endless update continually upgrading and sharpening the tool. Don't think think it's at all bad for the price point.

Good do it all scanner
Very versatile scanner. I have used it on domestic and foreign vehicles without issue. It has all the features anyone would need and more. The interface is decent. The tablet is very functional and can be used for other purposes. The scan tool is an app on the tablet. You can load other apps, browse the internet, take pictures with the tablet separate from the scan tool. Not much memory to use as a dedicated tablet for storing pictures and video but is fine if only using it for the scan tool and a few apps and/or internet browsing.

Decent
They need to advertise better. Should be upgraded to better handle the tasks it says it can do

XTOOL D9S PRO
I bought this scanner to replace my XTOOL D8 which was approaching 3 years old and would need a new yearly subscription if I wanted to stay current with updates. I looked at the price D95 PRO with all the accessories and because I was able to easily resell the D8, I decided to go for it.The D8 was quite the scanner, but this would be my ultimate. I know one of the teachers at the local college that teaches Automotive Technology that couldn’t program the key on a 2015 Kia that they had to replace the immobilizer on. The school’s high end Snap-on and Bosch scanners couldn’t do it. This one did it.I should mentioned that that I picked the D8 without the Bluetooth connection, but direct cable connection to the OBD2 port. I’ve used scanners with them, but have run into issues with lag time and drop outs. The D95 has WiFi, much faster and longer range… no problems and most of all, convenient. Also should note that XTOOL has excellent after sale service and technical advisors.BTW, We let the students diagnose some of the other cars they were working on and they loved it... Instructor says he will be lobbying for the school to get some XTOOL scanners. Very happy with this purchase as you could no doubt tell; to think a few years back I was debating about buying an Autel or an XTOOL.
