My Yaesu FT-7900 microphone cord wore out with the jacket material becoming brittle and breaking off at both ends. The new cables are an exact replacement match except for the Molex termination wire color coding. The back of the microphone was taken off (3 screws) and the old cable removed and the new cable plugged in and the back reassembled. Testing was successful :0). If you need high quality replacement cables, this is a good option.

I bought these to refurbish a pair of Yaesu mikes another ham gave me. The old cords were frayed, but when these new ones arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find they come with a plug-in connector which makes soldering unnecessary. Just open up the mike, unplug the damaged cord, plug the new one in, and put the mike back together. Easy!

Product is good and will work well for my needs. I ordered the 6 pin MH 48 & MH 48 cable cord on the same date. Mic delivered 8/8/24. NO cable cord in the box. I was able to get another cable cord, thank you. My issue is, how do I return the cord that was ordered at the same time as the mic?Hope you’re able to help or point me in the right direction.
