Upgraded from an aging 7870XT to this for a few reasons:-great performance for the cost, Simply amazing value compared to what was available at this price a few years ago.-Efficiency, not even needing 6-pin power connectors from the PSU. Requires barely any power, saves a bit of money on the electricity bill :D Means the fan is very quiet too, not much heat to dissipate-Size, again thanks to the efficiency that it doesn't need a big heatsink, 2 fans etc. Makes it easy to work in a tight (ITX) case.-Nvidia drivers, software etc. I have no personal preference, I've used AMD for a long time and nvidia just seems a bit more modern and together when it comes to this stuff, works better with the games I play. maybe I'm wrong but it at least feels better with nvidia.It's been a few months since I bought it, it's held up great. Getting playable FPS on dayZ, 60fps on low intensity games like hearthstone and insurgency.

First, was upset with Amazon on this. Am a Prime member and this was clearly marked as Prime. When ordering it did not default to next day delivery as is normal. So had to wait 8 days to receive it as being shipped from Amazon Italy. Luckily I had ordered in advance so not an issue - and was £10 cheaper than anywhere else. Did arrive on the promised day - just not the next day !!!!Installed very easily - just make note that this is a double height card so will block a second slot on some mobos. Drivers installed first time.On the plus side, this is a very short card, so will fit in any PC case. In my case, the installation leaves loads of room for the HDDs - can remove them without taking the card out which is a plus.This card also does not need an additional 6-pin connector from the PSU - it draws all its power from the mobo - which is good.The fan is silent - or at least makes less noise than the PSU and case fans.I have this card driving 2 1080p monitors and a 32" 1080p TV - all perfectly - which is excellent.I am not a gamer, but benchmarks indicate that it will play most games at good rates and 1080p.Supports picture and video editing and blu ray TV play back really well + streaming of live TV through apps like KODIFor the price a great little video card

Quick and hassle-free delivery.I really like the card! Any 1070 will play any game on max settings @ 1080p. So far it has been amazing. Idles at 34 degrees when inside the room is 24 - so merely 10 degrees difference from air temperature - that's great!I have seen it run the hottest under Mafia3 and World of Warcraft - both games absolutely maxed out. Card gets up to 74 degrees, but the fans do not go over 65% - so it's not all that noisy. Sadly I can't test 1440p, as I do not yet have a 2560x1440 monitor. Probably will update this review once I do. (Hopefully - soon!)Where I felt I was a tiny bit let down was the packaging.What I found in the box:1 GPU (duh!)1 2x6 to 1x8 pin PCI-E Power converter1 CD (who uses these anyway? People download newer drivers every week now! - completely useless!)1 Leaflet of some sort. Didn't even look at it.What I wish I had found in the box:Caps for the SLI connectors. These pick up dust easily and it's not recommended to rub them clean as they are easily damaged.Caps for the video connectors on the back - for the same reason. Nothing was capped which normally is the case with GPUs I have bought in the past.An SLI cable? Is it too much to ask from a 400 quid GPU?An nVidia sticker maybe? Not that I would have used it, but still...One other thing I wish I found in the box was a PCI-E power cable extension instead of a converter. It's quite the large GPU so it mingled with my cable management I had in place. Not that big of a deal, I suppose.The point here is this is a mid-high end class card and as such packaging should be on par with that. You don't get the very top notch performance-wise so maybe that could be compensated with a little extra something in the box? It used to be WAY more exciting to unpack computer parts :(Anyway, I am still very happy with my purchase. Build quality is fantastic and you get a very cool looking brushed aluminium back plate as well. Would definitely recommend as a 1070 variant. IMHO paying 80-100 quit extra for less than 100MHz on top of the core clock simply is not worth it, which makes this ticker probably the best 1070 when you talk about PPP (Performance Per Pound).

Steam recently forced me to upgrade to Windows 10. As I still need to use the old computer for productivity I bought a new PC and this card. It easily copes with Fallout 76 and 7 Days to D1e on decent settings. There are much better cards available but the prices match and this one works well, while being affordable.

Probably the cheapest GPU with 4K support, also silent. It's so tiny that I'm sure it will fit almost any case, plus you don't have extra power plug- like in good old days- just install card into PCIe socket and it's ready to go!The only downside for me was lack of Display Port, and because of that, my screen is limited to 30Hz only when plugged in via HDMI cable (that's for 4K res screen), but otherwise can't complain, excellent Intel extreeme chipset test card (Intel xtreeme doesn't have built in GPU, so this little can be very handy in such situation.)As for gaming- don't expect any performance miracles here- this card can't run any recent titel even on 720p, older games- maybe can play something on very low and 720p resolution, this card isn't really for that. I tried only Rocket League, all min settings and 720p, and still couldn't achieve any playable performance- lots of lags and basically unplayable.

This is a review of the card for the last week of use. great card no problems so far but it'll get a little toasty under load with most modern game titles in 2020 an thermals are stable unless you overclock so I recommend some decent case ventilation if you plan on running the card often. Its also pretty quiet so its not two bad if u run your system close by to you but over all great gpu at 300 to 400 especially in 2021 were its impossible to get any gpu right now. For 500 though please even as a last resort do not recommend for that kinda price.

Niente fronzoli. Fra quello che deve fare e lo fa anche piuttosto bene anche con gli ultimi giochi. Non potrà competere con le schede di ultimissima generazione, ma se non volete spendere una fortuna e siete disposti a rinunciare a qualche dettaglio, è davvero buono il rapporto qualità-prezzo

The Palit GeForce GTX 1050 Ti KalmX in knowledge, the only one GPU that passive cooled and need to just two slots in the PC case. My inaudible PC build is for music/sound makers and enthusiasts, but it can handle (>60Fps) a lot of different (medium demanding) games. (CSGO, Fortnite, Overwatch, LoL, WoW, Warframe, GTA 5, DOOM, Battlefield 1, etc.) Good thing, this graphics card doesn't have any moving part, therefore I don't have to concern any service headaches for the long run.
