Amazing!
I have bought so many hair appliances over the years and they all promise a lot and often fail to deliver so, although this sounded amazing, I approached it with some scepticism. I was delighted that my doubts were unfounded as I found this a real game changer which has made hair drying and styling far less stressful and time consuming. Previous to this, I used a Babyliss Big Hair Rotating Hair Brush, or as I call it the twirly whirly brush (TWB)! This has some major flaws including that it doesn’t have much drying power so I had to dry my hair about 70% dry with a hair dryer and finish with the TWB. I also found that, as my hair is quite thick, if I took too much hair at a time it would knot up and I would end up losing hair as I untangled it from the TWB. The Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser is the complete opposite to the TWB. I have had it for a month now and I am still amazed at how quick it dries my hair and how easy it is to use. I wash and towel dry my hair and have no need to use a hairdryer to get my hair mostly dry as this is surprisingly powerful. I like to get some volume near the roots and then I flick the ends out and this works perfectly for both. My hair is prone to frizziness and using this, with the help of anti frizz products sorts that problem out. All I use a hairdryer for now is drying my fringe as the Revlon brush is too big to get this how I want it. Apart from that one tiny thing, I am super impressed by this and would definitely recommend it.

I love it
My hair’s a bit of a nightmare, it’s quite thick and a little bit wavy and when left to it’s own devices it dries into a frizzy mess. I find using a hairdryer and straighteners hard work so a lot of the time I just dry it and tie it up, this brush takes out the hassle and gives me sleek straight hair with minimal effort and I find myself looking forward to using it. I let my hair air dry for about an hour after washing it, blast it with a hair dryer for 5 minutes to take out some of the dampness, then sit in a comfy chair in my lounge and use this brush. I don’t use a mirror and even without seeing what I’m doing, it always ends up looking decent and pretty straight, it isn’t perfect, but it’s such a huge difference from when I use a hairdryer, it looks so much better. The only negative about this brush is that the handle is quite thick so it can get a bit uncomfortable to hold, but I still give it 5 stars as I do find it nice to use and especially so in the winter, the warmth from it feels comforting somehow and it feels nicer to use than a hairdryer. I love that I can use it one handed and I get great results with hardly any effort. Definitely recommend 🙂❤️

Great Styler
Today was my first time using this one step styler and so far I really like it. My last hairdryer caught on fire and after seeing recommendations for this one on TikTok I decided to purchase it. I have naturally wavy/curly hair, (its also bleached at the ends) and not so much thick but I just have a lot of hair so usually it takes so long to do, however after using this styler I noticed how fast it dried my hair. Usually hairdryers leave my hair feeling dry and frizzy but this styler left my hair looking “not frizzy” and shiny. Usually tools like these scare me as I used a babyliss curler that sucked up my hair and wouldn't let it out so i feared that somehow my hair was going to get sucked into the brush somehow but thankfully it didn't but due to the anxiety of that happening caused me to lose concentration and I ended up touching the metal part of the brush mid using it and burnt myself, luckily it wasn’t too severe but did give me a bit of a shock. After using it I expected it to remain hot for a while but surprisingly it cooled down pretty quick. I must say it will take me a bit to learn how to use this properly as everyone on TikTok had a flawless blowout appearance however mine lacked the tidyness they had, but I blame this on my ability to style my hair however being stuck in semi-lockdown this has given me a new task to learn. Previously I was blessed with a nice expensive hairdryer that wasn’t too noisy (however wasn’t very fireproof) but this styler is really loud, like my ma in the other room thought I was starting a new DIY project and was drilling. After using it I found my hearing was a bit messed up because it was beside my ears for about 10-15 minutes and was very loud, however the PMS was away by then, so it didn’t bother me too much. The styler itself is not too heavy, so unlike a hairdryer, my arm didnt get sore at all but that may be down to all the arm workouts i’ve been doing throughout lockdown but from no visible arm muscles I’d say it’s just that the styler is very lightweight. Overall I’m very happy with this styler and definitely recommend it for all hair types, just make sure yous all use heat protectant spray as the highest setting on the styler does heat up a lot.

Quick to dry, noise is overstimulating
Tried it on setting 2 as directed as I have thick hair, it’s also not very long, just resting on my shoulders. I sectioned my hair and It dried it quicker time than my hairdryer does which is great when I don’t have the energy to faff. The videos I saw of it online however didn’t demonstrate the noise it makes and I found being neurodivergent that setting 2 was very overstimulating and I couldn’t bare it for long The setting 1 was much better to tolerate, it still dried it well but with less noise being the slower setting, the handle also gets quite hot which I also struggled to tolerate for long while trying to dry my hair and sections, and comb it all got a bit much. The item itself is great, it gets right in to your roots without your scalp getting hot, and I managed to get all the back of my hair dry on the crown which I don’t manage with a conventional hairdryer much, and my hair is shiny and smooth after sleeping on it in my bonnet with lots of volume! Great item, definitely worth the money, just try setting 1 if you are noise sensitive like me.

This product took 24 days to arrive, and when it did, I can't use it. There is absolutely no mention anywhere on the product page that this product is the American version, but it was sent from Texas, and has an American plug on it which is not useable here. I don't even think it can take European power, because the manual makes absolutely no mention of anything power related, and the transformer plug also doesn't seem to have any power information on it. So basically I paid €106 for a product that took almost a month to get here, and I can't use.
