Micro SDHC memory card for your Mobile, Tablet, Sports Cam, Car Cam, mini computer cheap, fast stable and reliable
I’ve brought this for my father’s phone, who has the same model as me, I’m running the SanDisk Ultra Android 128 GB MicroSDXC card, so I thought I’d purchase this card for his to compare. I’ve found no discernible difference, both cards work really well and have been pretty responsive when running media like docs, photos and movies straight from the card. I choose the frustration free packaging option for this card, it came in a plain brown cardboard envelope with easy tear off the packaging. Once removed the card and its micro SD adaptor was inside a small plastic container keeping them safe until use. As you can see in the pictures it comes with a sheet of the amount of storage it can hold for files such as photos, mp3 and videos. It’s quite impressive as an indicator, but you’re more than likely to have a combination of these files. I ran a quick test downloading H2testw. To make sure it was legit (you can never be too careful) and placed it inside the phone. It’s great works exactly as expected. It’s fast, it pulls up documents and media files really fast, the only lag really being the phone as opposed to the SHDC card. Samsung is a well know global trustworthy brand so they know exactly what they are doing. Between the Samsung and the Sandisk, there is not much in it. Samsung does electronics and SanDisk are memory experts. But really if there is a significant price difference between the two brands and I need to get a memory card then I’ll opt for the cheapest with the knowledge that they both are very good.

Very good card for its price
Very good card and fast for its price and capacity. Write speed is around 18 MB/s and read speed is around 60 MB/s. It takes around 1 hour and 50 minutes to fill it which is actually pretty good for a micro sd card (not full sized sd cards) (at this price range). Therefore, I disagree with the other reviewer that said that the write speed drops down to crawl. The figures I mentioned above was to fill the whole card and read it all the data written back. Probably the other reviewer got a defective unit, has a slow pc/device or was transferring thousands of really small files. Also it has relatively good speed for small file transfer for its price range (4Kb from the benchmarks pictures attached). Its a good idea to check your card if it has the advertised capacity when buying it, with h2testw (google it, it is a simple program that fills the drive and then verifies that everything is ok by reading it), since there are many fakes (probably not on amazon). A tip for persons who want to use this card for backup: If you have a lot of small files and it totals to many GBs eg 50, add your files to a zip file and then add the zip file to the card. The transfer speed will be significantly faster (more than 20x). I had that card for around a year without problems. I recommend it.

Great Card
Its a genuine card not fake. A genuine samsung micro sd will be white round the edges and fakes are always black . I tested it, but the speeds i got are nowhere near what it says on the box. On the box it says up to 80mb/s Read and up to 20mb/s Write. On test it was 18mb/s Read and 13mb/s Write. I used a built in card reader on the pc i used but its a relatively old pc now so maybe the speeds would be better using a newer reader so bear that in mind. Depends what you want it for. If for phone storage ect its fine. On setup in the phone you now have the choice to use it as an extention to the phones internal storage or use it as external storage to store music videos photos ect. If you want to use it to extend a phones internal storage so you can store and use apps on it as well, you need a fast card for that or the apps wont work very well. No card will be as fast as the phones own internal storage speed, but if you must use a card to extend that so you can use apps on it as well, you need the fastest card possible. This card is great qaulity and its fine for keeping photos videos music ect on storage to use on your phone. Getting the sd card adapter with it as well is a bonus too. Good price for a great qaulity card.

Excellent product, really bad packaging
I purchased this to go with the Samsung Galaxy S8+ which I have on pre-order. As such, I cannot testify as to whether the card Amazon sent works or not until the 20th April when the handset arrives. What's the point of this review then? Simple, I have used numerous of these Samsung Evo branded cards in the course of both my personal and professional life (I've been a technology journalist for the last 27 years) and have always found them to be amongst the most reliable out there. If, in the very unlikely event, I get a dud that has slipped through the QA process then I'm 101% happy that Amazon will either replace it with another one or my money back. That's the beauty of buying from Amazon. More so as a Prime user (cripes, this is starting to sound like an Amazon ad that I'm not even getting paid for) is that it won't cost me a penny to return either. The one negative I have can be seen in the photos I have uploaded: the packaging is pants and then some. Sure, it does a good job of holding the little card and adapter in place, but it is impossible to extract the product without cutting the packaging in half. Even my trusty pair of office scissors struggled to make the cut, and there's no way you could return one of this undamaged. I'm guessing any working returns would find their way into the Amazon Warehouse at a 15% discount or whatever, repacked in a brown packet. But seriously, c'mon Samsung, you can do so much better than this. How about some nice eco-friendly, people friendly, packaging that doesn't require going into full-on attack mode to tackle? Just saying...

Great Storage Solution for Devices With Low Internal Storage
Bought to be installed permanently in a Nifty MiniDrive for my MacBook Pro 15 Retina, this is exactly what this storage solution needed. The Samsung EVO Plus provides speedy, consistent and reliable read/write access and has effectively doubled the internal storage in my SSD based Mac laptop. This is certainly a new field for growth as laptops and desktop-substitute tablets increasingly utilise SSD's with very modest storage capacities, and demands increase for low cost, tiny storage solution. Many devices already come with slots to accomodate these storage cards, bussed directly into the motherboard and the system with no need for bridges or piggyback devices, and I already use EvoPlus cards on my tablets, my SurfacePro and my smartphone. Aside from the speed and consistency, in my experience Samsung are established as one of the more trouble-free producers of storage cards with a solid track record, a good reputation for quality and of course a long warranty which demonstrates the company's belief in their products.

Buy with confidence ... a genuine memory card
A genuine Samsung product, which has been test against the h2testw program and confirmed the memory to be 128GB (minus the normal / expected data difference). The 128GB memory card continues to work perfectly in my Samsung Galaxy S7 mobile phone, I have not had any issues with data freeze, finding data on the card or losing any data. I am really pleased with the product. I am always very sceptical about buying memory cards having been caught out a few times previously with fake cards. You buy from this seller with confidence as the product is genuine and the memory you buy is the memory you get !! Update: Feb 2018: I have read the Fake Card review and viewed the 'fake v genuine' comparison pictures submitted as part of the review. Whilst I cannot dispute the reviewers experience or findings, I have just checked my Samsung 128GB card again against those pictures and can confirm the 128GB SD Card and Samsung adapter are both genuine and correspond exactly to the genuine ones in the photos. That said, the fake review is very helpful as are the photos but for clarity my experience was positive and the Samsung micro SD card is genuine.

Works with Nextbase 402G Dash Cam
Samsung Memory 128 GB EVO Plus MicroSDXC UHS-I Grade 1 Class 10 Memory Card with SD Adapter - Black/Red/White Bought this from Amazon with Prime. Tested it using h2testw_1.4, though took me about 2 hours to verify but worth it, this is 100% genuine good quality card. Not sure how long it will last though. I purchased it for my Dash Cam Nextbase 402G. Though the Nextbase user documentation on states that it takes 32GB maximum, but I found out that limit is for FAT32 file system. When formatted this 128GB card as exFAT, the Dash Cam took it without any issues. Recorded some videos and made sure everything is working ok. I was looking for higher capacity cards becasue earlier this year I lost some good footage of my trip to Switzerland, that was about 8 hours beautiful high def recording due to me being lazy to copy it onto my laptop. Though from then on I made sure to always take a backup at night but that still is a pain. I hope 128GB (which 4 times of my previous card) would allow me to save at least 2 days 1080p recording.
