Bodum Spare Filter Mesh - 3 Cup

At the expensive end of the filter market, but good value and keeps all the coffee grounds inside the cafetiere and not in one's cup. Can recommend strongly.

As a product its great. 7cm in diameter with a 5mm washer reinforced hole in the centre, it fits the 3 cup press which is the one that is 13cm high. Nice snug fit against the glass and, after getting used to the coffee that came through my old deteriorating filter until it final split, it produces a great coffee.For the price, its a very expensive necessity, when combined with the postage approximately half the cost of an entire cafetiere !!Packaging (depending on the merchant you buy from) It could be protected from being folded or damaged by a piece of cardboard in a small envelope and a first class stamp. Instead mine arrived loose inside a soft jiffy bag requiring large letter postage

Bought to replace a mesh filter that was fraying at the edges. Needed a little filing to increase the diameter of the centre hole in order to fit a non-Bodum cafetiere. Otherwise simple to fit and does the job.

Obviously simple concept - but our old small Bodum had a split at it's edge. Always meant a mouthful of coffee grinds at then end. This fitted perfectly. Not cheap but should last well.

As others have said this is made for a Bodum and the central hole is slightly small for other cafitierres. However it is very well made with a strong outer rim and a solid central hole surround. A quick of opening up with a dremmel and grind stone soon made it fit my cafitierre and it does a very good job.

Seems expensive for what it is, but hopefully the brand name means it is a safe material.Needs to be bent / forced into shape on first use.

Ordered this as a replacement for the filter in Sainsbury's Home Double Walled 3 Cup Cafetiere. The mesh is well made, double layered at the edges to prevent and a a central stamped ring to locate it. However unfortunately the diameter of the hole in the middle was too small to fit my cafetiere.

Its expensive but if you can't get one locally because all the department stores that used to carry stock have closed down then you don't have much choice. It does what it says ie it prevents most of the coffee grinds from getting in your cup/mug.

This fliter is WAY better quality then what was originally came with my French Press!It has a stiffer rim so it is not as smooth plunging it at this time but I am thinking this will become easier as it get used.Much better filtering of my coffee!!!

Dann besteht zum einen Verletzungsgefahr und zum anderen können winzig kleine Edelstahlstückchen abbrechen und mitgetrunken werden.Wenn man dies bemerkt, kauft man sich also einen neuen Filter. Außer Frage steht, dass der Preis hoffnungslos überhöht ist. Für ein kleines Stückchen Metall diesen Preis zu bezahlen, ist eine Frechheit. Bodum tut sich damit keinen Gefallen, weil es Kunden verärgert.Aber ich bewerte hier nicht den Preis. Der Filter passt problemlos auf die gängigen Bodum Pressstempelkannen. Für Kannen welcher Größe der Filter passt, ist in der Produktbeschreibung zutreffend angegeben.Der Filter tut also genau das was er soll und wofür er verkauft wird. Das Produkt selbst kann ich also nur mit fünf Sternen bewerten. Würde ich den Preis bewerten, würde er null Sterne bekommen.
