Q: Has anyone out there tried mixing 2 different shades together --and if so --does it work ?

Hi there, I use to be a hairdresser so have some knowledge, I mix mine all the time. Before they changed it a few years back I use to use Natural Light Brown which was a lovely colour, but after they changed it, it became very dark so I have been mixing dark blond with Light brown, using 3 quarters dark blond with 1 quarter Light brown. Always mix more of the lighter colour adding less of the darker one you chose as you can always go darker if it's to light but it's harder to go lighter These home tints are safe to use and if you do a safety patch and are OK you are good to use them, unfortunately some people don't administer them properly and then blame the product

Q: I see there is newer version available, if I buy this product will i get the old stock? I don't like the new stock.

I have still been getting the old stock, as my colour has changed in the new version and I no longer like it

I havn’t noticed any difference to be honest- I have used medium ash brown for years- and never had a problem with it.

I would think yes as long as you measure accurately .re seal the containers and keep separated do not mix the lot! Or you'll have to use it all in one go😊 I split colours 50/50 as I have extremely short hair and got fed up of paying same price as someone with yards of hair in salon for colour treatments!!! Ripoff! Quantities can be measured by weight if creme and I keep empty containers to get accurate split measures each time and works fine!

Complete waste of time and money

Complete waste of time and money! My flat mate and i both dye our hair reguarly and decided to try this out, she has dark blonde hair, i have med brown. We both used this same colour on our hair, even left it on for extra time, it didnt even LIGHTEN it never mind change the colour. It also stinks worse than other dyes we have used. I dont recommend this at all.
