I had a 1TB Sandisk that simply died (as, I learned, they are infamous for this.). Got this toreplace it. Quite fast; only time will tell about durability.

The vendor shipped a new drive that worked fine for the first couple of months, then BAM, Total Failure! The vendor was impossible to contact and Samsung refused to cover the warranty replacement. The reason, the vendor was not an OFFICIAL Samsung reseller! How was I supposed to know? I ended up woking with Amazon customer service to ignore their 30-day return policy and refund the money on a gift card. BE CAREFUL!

Excellent SSD externe (Samsung reste une référence dans le domaine). Principalement utilisé comme solution de sauvegarde de photos et documents, il rempli parfaitement son rôle. Les vitesses de transfert annoncées sont respectées et il chauffe très peu lors de l'usage. Le boîtier de protection est compact, solide et très bien fini, il paraît d'amblée de très bonne qualité. Son design est sobre et élégant, et il tient dans la poche, donc très facile à transporter. Le seul bémol est son prix qui est assez élevé, et qui a très peu évolué dans le temps. Donc il est peu probable qu'attendre pour l'avoir a un meilleur prix soit une stratégie payante. Si vous en avez besoin, je vous conseille donc de vous le procurer sans attendre.
