Slim Rattan-Look Laundry Basket

Plastic laundry baskets such as this aren't in my local shops to inspect so I felt a little unsure if it was worth spending more than four times the price of a cheap basket from one of the bargain chains. The lesser quality baskets that I looked at had sharp edges, weren't finished nicely and had a shiny finish so I felt that it was worth the risk. Save to say, I'm pleased that I chose this one. It is solid, the handles feel strong and comfortable, it has a matt finish and nothing is sharp. The moulding gives the appearance of a weave but it is a decorative effect only, resulting in a rigid structure that holds its shape. The basket is stood against the side of a wardrobe and the size is about the same so it doesn't intrude into the room. The lid can be fitted in one of four positions which is nice. It doesn't close perfectly, tending to land with one of the possible hinge-points resting on the edge rather than falling unto one of the recesses seen in the picture but the effect is fine and it does close with slight encouragement. Overall; I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend.

Curver quality and design, so I have found it excellent. I wanted it more as a storage box for towels etc in an en suite, and it is perfect. It is narrow, so fits in between my shower cubicle and sink. Looks unobtrusive but big enough to store away all the clean towels easily. It seems strong and durable, but as I'm not going to be carrying it about with laundry in, that's not an issue for me.

The bin is great, strong and sturdy. I like Curver products because they last. A tad expensive but I would rather pay more for a good product that will last. I only gave three stars because customer support is a bit shabby, no reply to my email asking for help with fitting the lid. The only instructions were little diagrams that I couldn’t see due to my failing eyesight. I finally worked out how to fit the lid (I was trying to fit it to wrong end of the bin!). Customer Service could do with some improvement.

Was a bit worried about some of the reviews but as a prime member I knew I could just send it back if there was a problem. I needn't have worried..it's great! It's a good size for my bathroom..fits well in the gap I have but is still large enough for plenty of washing. The hinge is a handy addition...my kids tend to have problems putting lids back on! The plastic is good quality and you can clean it easily for better hygiene. No issues with this at all...in fact when I saw the round version on sale in the high street I purchased that too.

A neat, good looking , easy to clean laundry basket. We have 2 in this size. Lightweight so easy to move around. Hinged lid which you assemble onto the basket, either end or side lifting. A bit fiddly to do but works well. Keep the spare part. DURABILITY: one of the hinges snapped when the lid flipped back too hard, unsupported. This was quite a long while after purchase. I changed the lid round to open the other way using the remaining part of the hinge supplied.

Overall great design, main body is very strong and sturdy. The colour is probably my biggest concern, none of them look that nicely coloured/modern, a sleek black one would be best. Also the lid is a bit flimsy. But overall a very good basket that will undoubtedly last a very, very long time. Much better to spend a bit more than cheap out at b&m bargains etc and have to buy one every 6 months cos they break so quick. Made really well.

What can I say, I ordered this item after being totally pissed with my daughter putting her dirty laundry into the washing machine and walking away. I am very pleased with this not only does it fit where I put it and it looks lovely a sort of antique white and it looks a lot more expensive than it was it’s also very sturdy and will last a long time I will buy this item again should my daughter move to a flat of her own as a house warming present 😂 😂 so if you are thinking of buying this item you can shop with confidence

Brought this 3 months ago ... first week I was happy but first week the hinge broke .. I thought I could work around that .... now the bask lid is falling apart cracked and very poor quality. In this internet age, it is amazing how many products manufactures product rubbish and expect to get 5 star reviews Do not make my mistake - give this product a miss and save yourself having to get another one in 3 months or less. My last Addis one lasted 8 years!

Très beau panier à linge, plutôt robuste et peu encombrant. Ayant une très petite salle de bain, il ne prend pas beaucoup de place et peut contenir pourtant beaucoup de vêtements. De plus sa couleur ivoire s’intègre parfaitement à n’importe quelle type de décoration et le rend plutôt discret. Il y a des poignées de chaque côté si on souhaite le déplacer facilement, et la trappe du dessus peut se clipser facilement pour une ouverture de face ou de côté, au choix !

Great robust quality! Love that the clothes don’t get wet should you get water all of the floor (as I did once hence this purchase) However they slim down a bit too much meaning you could have used that space for the basket instead of nothing. And/or not have them so wide on the top so I could have fit two of the wider size. Further I find it difficult to find a higher basket that has the same height as a standard washer - that again becomes a waste of space.

Questo cesto intrecciato in plastica é discretamente fabbricato, ha una buona finitura e sembra anche robusto. Ho scelto questa soluzione per il mio bagno - lavanderia perché lo spazio che avevo non era profondo e questo cesto, dopo aver confrontato e valutato molte soluzioni, era quello che funzionava meglio. Sono al momento soddisfatta. Certo non ha una grande capienza, ma avendone acquistati due, ho egregiamente risolto. Per me è un buon prodotto, la qualità - prezzo è soddisfacente.

Veramente bello esteticamente,anche grande ,lasciato una notte all aria e svanito l odore ,,cesto veramente molto capiente e lo consigljo
