Quite dinky but well made.

I was shocked at how small these were - it's almost like a Christmas cracker toy. I've got small / medium hands and I use three fingers to hold and close the grips. But they are really well made and the grip is amazing so for the right job - they are the right tool. I didn't buy them for a specific purpose but just to keep in my tool bag for providing excellent grip without the weight of the larger versions. Just to give you an idea of how useful and good these are - I removed some damaged screws from a computer hard-drive and Printed Circuit Board. Also, these grips include a wire cutter which is able to cut small nails.

The quality is okay. as expected for erwin. using this for small screw on aircraft panel.

I bought these for my welding shop. I don't need the best top brand quality, I prefer a low budget brand. They do the job well and if I weld them to the project by mistake, no real harm done.

Very useful smaller mole grips, shame they are made in Taiwan but then again most things arw these days and yes that does include Snap on

I purchased these with the aim of cracking off compression joints on the cars braking system, replacing the flexi brake lines all round and removing the master cylinder to replace the seals. Although I have a set of flared spanners for this job some of the fittings were extremely tight, the spanners slipped and I ran the risk of rounding the nut. These locking pliers are perfect, small enough to get into tight spaces yet strong enough to get a very tight grip on the nut. I would highly recommend having a set of these in your tool kit for such scenarios. I am thinking about the 4inch set now, just in case I need a smaller set at any time.
