All nine series of the popular US sitcom about a beleaguered courier driver and his family. Doug and Carrie Heffernan are a young Queens couple who should be sitting pretty. Doug (Kevin James) is a courier driver with a cheeky, playful nature who, given a choice, almost always chooses what's most likely to rile his wife's fiery temper. Carrie (Leah Remini) is a legal assistant, vivacious, wise, and, on the face of it, way too good for Doug - a fact that informs much of the comedy here. In the first flush of their married life together, however, Carrie's parents' house burns down. Her mum dies, and dad Arthur needs a place to stay. Arthur (Jerry Stiller) is an oddball, hilariously volatile old man who never says anything that isn't in anger or indignation. An ensemble of Doug's quirky friends, who constantly dispense advice he takes to heart but which is utterly, disastrously wrong, round out the cast in this long-running family comedy.

The king of Queens season 1 - 9
This show is Brilliant!. The box is Great too, it is in a strong carboard box with season 1 - 5 in an individual plastic box & the other 4 seasons in their own individual plastic box, which I'm extremely happy as the older boxset just comes in sleves. I definitely recommend it's a really funny show you will not be disappointed, not to mention i love the Everybody loves Raymond crossovers.Doug and Carrie Heffernan are a working class couple living at "3121 Aberdeen Street" in Rego Park, Queens, New York along with Carrie's eccentric father, Arthur Spooner.Doug works for the fictional International Parcel Service (IPS) as a delivery driver, while Carrie works as a secretary in Manhattan, first for a law firm and later for a real estate firm. Their lives are complicated by the demands of Arthur, so much so that they eventually hire Holly, a professional dog walker, to spend time with him as she walks dogs in the park. Also featured on the show are Doug's friends Deacon Palmer, Spencer Olchin and Richie Iannucci, as well as Doug's cousin Danny Heffernan. Deacon's wife Kelly is Carrie's best friend. Most scenes take place in the Heffernans' home, but other common locations include Doug and Carrie's workplaces, the restaurant "Cooper's" and the residences of friends and family. While locations seen during the theme-song were filmed in areas surrounding New York, the series was filmed in California. The show begins after Doug and Carrie have already married, and how they met is slightly unclear due to continuity issues. In one flashback episode, Doug meets Carrie when he is a bouncer at a nightclub that Carrie attends. However, in another episode, "Road Rayge," Carrie reflects on a song that she says Doug asked her to dance to when they were in junior high school. In a later episode, it was implied that they all went to high school together, as Kelly and Carrie were said to have slept with the same guy neither husband knew of until the day of the guy's wedding.

I have became attatched to the Heffernans!
I just purchased this fantastic box set a week after christmas and im already on season 6. I have loved every episode and i often find myself laughing out loud which i dont usually do with every sitcom.First of all the Box set itself - I was stunned by its size as the picture amazon has makes it look slightly narrow but in reality its a nice thick box set of the IPS truck which the main character Doug drives in the show. all 9 seasons have their own sleave some have 4 discs some have 3 and the last season has two.Overall it is a beautiful box set and im very pleased to have it in my collection. The show - I absaloutly adore American sitcoms. I love things like Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond and Two and a half men, which here in Britain are all showed on the comedy central channel. King of queens was always a favourite of mine aswell but i seemed to neglect it on t.v. Now that i have the box set i have found myself in love with the show. I go about my everyday life thinking about the Heffernans as if they are real people. Kevin James (Doug), Leah Remini (Carrie) and Jerry Stiller (Aurthur) are an excellent comedy trio, They really do bring a great sitcom to the table.Overall its a fantastic Sitcom and I truley recomend it.

Thanks for the ride
Was an instant fan of the show when it was shown on channel 4 in the morning. I then saw other shows later on a variety of channels. I then decided to get this entire package DVD and go through every episode. It took me thirteen months and what struck me was that I enjoyed the one's I had seen before as much as some I had not. It was great to see them in order. The cast and supporting cast are just fantastic. When I got to the end I felt sad the ride was over but the last few episodes are just fantastic. I think this is the most underrated show ever, it's just so consistent all the way through. So a show about a delivery driver, his wife who has a more admin job and the father in law Arthur who lives in the basement. With support from Spence and Deacon and other cast members, it's just a joy. This is my favorite sit com ever. Thanks for the ride.

My favourite US sitcom
Consistently very funny. The first half of season 1 was a little patchy, but from the second half of season 1 onwards, it was terrific. The three leading characters were all fantastic. Very easy to watch & enjoy.

Great show
While on holiday in America my wife and I came across this show and really enjoyed it so decided when we got back to the UK we would pick up the full box set of the series and am delighted we did as the series is really well written, funny and has already been watched through numerous times since we purchased it so for me it is a really great show and this is a brilliant way to own and watch all of the episodes.
