I replaced my sliding door handles years ago with a product from ACE which never fit right. The lock was never able to latch, the entire mechanism was loose and not quite the correct size. So happy to see this product in the Amazon store. Fits perfectly, easy to install, quality craftsmanship, and looks good! I highly recommend it. Even went back and picked up the exterior handle. Love it.

The item was great. I paired it with a wood grain handle for the other side of the door which worked perfectly.

Excellent replacement handle. Arrived the next day which was convenient since our old one snapped off making it hard to open the door. The screws included were just a tad too long, so we just used the screws from the previous handle. It took about 30 seconds to replace. It is much sturdier than our old one which was wood with metal mounting posts. This handle is all metal, and has thicker posts that are welded to the handle; pretty sure it will last a long time. Great price as well - don't think you can go wrong with this one!

The assembly includes a variety of parts to adapt to different situations. Although one reviewer claimed the key did work, care must be taken when putting the two sides together to ensure that the pin on the outside half fits in the slot of the inside half. The key may need to be inserted into the lock and turned during the install to position the pin correctly. It seems to be well made but is a little lighter weight than the original it was replacing. Was able to use the original handle bar with this new latch and lock set since the holes lined up exactly.

excellent value, easy install 5 screws and done. extras pieces so no adjustments is need just replace the lock length that's the 5 screw if you have to even replace it... it comes with one attached! so maybe only 4 screws for you!!!!! hint... if you get black get a permanent mark for light scratchs on install nothing major!

I purchased 2 handles to add to the sliders on my apartment doors. They make it much easier to open & close. No more broken nails. 🙂 Very easy to install with a screwdriver. They don't look original to my door but blend well enough if you're not examining it up close. The function was key to me. The holes lined up perfectly - I believe that is a standard placement on American sliders at least. Btw, I didn't use the screws included, I reused the ones from the plate on the doors which were the proper length. The included screws were too long for my doors.Ignore the dirty windows in the picture. 😏

Worst lock I have ever purchased.I have changed patio door locksmultiple times. Zero issues. This one did not line up properly and the latch can't be removed to change to anotherlatch. I asked other people to try to change it and the screw wouldn't not budge. You get what you pay for.
