Yeah you can. With a bit of force and pulling up and left at a bit of a weird angle.

Do not know but have had mine for several years. Very robust. reliable and good to use.

Does this come with attachment to secure to worktop?

Yes, it comes with a u-shaped clamp that fits into an aperture in the unit and fits below the worktop and tightens with a screw. Where the screw meets the underside of the worktop there is a small disk that floats until it can make secure contact with the surface. Very similar to a normal C-type screw clamp
