Tisserand - Cypress Essential Oil, 9 ml

Lovely smell as,great quality, helps me relax and really helps with insomnia,you can inhale 2-3 drops from a tissue or use in an oil burner .I also use it in combination with Tisserand jojoba oil,6-12 drops to every ounce of jojoba oil and this mixture is great for acne,and oily skin. You can also mix it with grapeseed oil for a massage 15-30 drops per ounce of carrier oil,it has great pain killing properties and anti-inflammatory properties The health benefits of camomile essential oil can be attributed to its properties as an antispasmodic, antiseptic, antibiotic, antidepressant, antineuralgic, antiphlogistic, carminative, cholagogue, cicatrisant, emenagogue, analgesic, febrifuge, hepatic, sedative, nervine, digestive, tonic, antispasmodic, bactericidal, sudorific, stomachic, anti inflammatory, anti infectious, vermifuge, and vulnerary substance. It has been seen to be very effective in fighting depression and for raising spirits. They eliminate feelings of sadness, depression, disappointment, and sluggishness while inducing a sort of happy or charged feeling. Even smelling these oils can help a lot in overcoming depression and bringing about a good mood.

It's Tisserand. It's essential oil. It's good stuff. Roman chamomile is one essential oil I'd never be without, and where finances permit I always try to purchase organic and ethically harvested, even though they may be considered a con. All I know is that this smells amazing, and that, as with all quality oils, a little really does go a long way, so is more cost effective than the purchase price may lead you to believe. Pretty sure I've said the exact same thing about every Tisserand oil, and likely will about my future purchases from them, because they're one of the few essential oil companies that is yet to let me down. A full five stars from me!

I feel I have to write this review as I purchased 3 below standard Chamomile Roman oils from other suppliers here on Amazon in the past 2 weeks and they have been a total waste of time & money!! I have been using chamomile Roman oil for over 30 years. This is my third recent purchase of Tisserand chamomile Roman oil. In my opinion it is the best on the market. I have bought a good chamomile Roman oil from Naissance too. Chamomile Roman oil should smell strong, herby & earthy .... as soon as you smell it you know it’s pukka when you feel that deep relaxation. It is not supposed to be light and fruity as many of the cheaper weaker ones smell. Having recently come off most of my prescription medications, pain killers, & diazepam which I used to aid sleep, for approximately 20 years ! .... I use a lot of Chamomile Roman, I put it in my shower gel, massage oil, & aroma diffuser and every night I put some neat on my pillow, which aids greatly in getting to sleep. My husband who is a complete skeptic also uses it now and every night without fail he asks me to put some on his pillow ! ( I don’t trust him to do it himself as I’m sure he would use half the bottle!! ) we find we have deeper sleep periods which corresponds directly with our fitness sleep trackers. One night I accidentally spilt a load on my pillow .... OMG I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH DEEP SLEEP , I usually get 2 hours if I’m lucky ..... well that night I got 4 1/2 hours of deep sleep!! Apparently Chamomile Roman works on the same receptors as diazepam does.... I can tell you in my experience it does and has massively helped with my withdrawal from it. As I use so much I have recently tried other suppliers selling it cheaper on amazon; Absolutely avoid Rainbow Abby ...that one said it was organic etc .... it smelt totally synthetic no way was that even an oil ... I couldn’t get rid of the synthetic smell, even after repeated washing with that one. Freshskin & Purely essential oil both of these suppliers oils are very weak not a patch on tisserand or another good brand naissance Chamomile Roman oil. I was so frustrated with the whole buying experience of other suppliers that I had to write this review to hopefully save others from the mistakes I have made.... I hope you find this review helpful, sadly a decent Chamomile Roman is going to be more expensive... ( remember you can dilute it in a carrier oil like jojoba to make it last longer) .... you get what you pay for.... this one is worth it.

Slowly transitioning all of my pure essential oils to Tisserand. The quality and longevity have surpassed the others purchased. This Chamomile has a pleasant scent a few drops used in diffuser at night to aid sleep naturally is how I am currently using this oil and I am happy.

I like the earthy but fresh smell of this oil although the scent didn't seem that strong when I used it in my aromatherapy oil vapouriser, however this is a really good brand and I have brought a few of these in different scents so I do recommend trying different ones

I recently bought a Zenbow Aromatherapy Diffuser and was looking for the best quality oils to diffuse. Tisserand makes good quality, reliable oils. This one has a beautiful woody aroma and along with other Tisserand oils make for the most wonderful aromas. I've tried many different brands and I won't use anything other than Tisserand now.

Although a little pricey, I do find the Tisserand Chamomile Roman Essential oil to be quite good and oh so potent. I mean one or two drops is all you really need in what ever application. It smells really nice and I've been using it for a while. Absolutely no complaints.

The oil smells like what is supposed to smell unfortunately it came open. Who knows how long ago it was opened. I do hope it’s not diluted or worst. I feel a little disappointed about this…
