Good quality, handy little sketchbook
I attend a weekly art class. I wanted a small sketchbook which I could use to practice in before committing my drawings to more expensive art paper. This was ideal for this purpose. The paper was good quality and the book looked more expensive that it actually was. It was a handy size for carrying about with me. A Good buy.

Great sketchbook
This is a good sketchbook for pencil and graphite rough sketchers.The pages are generous and big with an off colour white to the pages also has a elastic band keeps the book closed and secure.Pages have a mild tooth to them and it just feels nice using pencil on the paper very surprised for the price.The paper in the book I'm sure it's not acid free and never painted in it or used water colour just plain colour pencil and grapbite.I have bought a few of these in the past and this sketchbook is worth it just for the rough sketching and ideas.

Very rough surface
I purchased this pad to use as a colour swatch pad but the paper is too rough and doesn't work well with pencils. I will keep it as a general sketch book (because I can't return it) but I wouldn't buy again. I prefer smoother papers and there are actually smooth papers with some tooth! This is sand paper...I wouldn't recommend it for Sharpies either, I tried to write a title and it almost bleed on the opposite side. Disappointing quality but what could I expect for the price.

the feel of the paper and the feel of the cover
beautiful notepads or sketch for inks. the size was great. the look was beautiful and I gave it to somebody as a gift as he liked it so much. the paper is heavy enough for pastel or actual ink. so if you do calligraphy they would look beautiful in such a nice product. well done Amazon
