Best Jose to Date
Great fit and improved design from older Jose models. I've been wearing the Jose frames for about 10 years and these seem to have solved a majority of the issues that eventually pop up with normal wear and tear in the nose piece and above the cheek areas. Solid value, comfortable as expected, and traditional Costa clarity. Great product in my mind.

Best on the water glasses, bar none. Get the Glass lenses.
I have had more than than 25 pairs of these the last couple of decades. Really the best there is for on the water fishing and activities. Not cheap but I keep going back to them and still try others from time to time. Have a pair in each car, boat, briefcase, travel bag, etc. I like the GLASS way better than the plastic lenses. Has to have G on the lens!

Costa Del Mar Pro Series are the best!
These Jose Pro series is of much better quality than the non-pro model. I also have the blue mirror Fantail Pro for offshore use which is great. Only thing with the Jose Pro is the square vents in the nose piece is larger than the Fantail so when looking sideways you can see through vent holes so taking one star off. Bit of an annoyance at first but otherwise the fit and 580g glass is awesome. Would definitely recommend these over the non-pro Jose model.

Great sunglasses. Packing issue at Amazon.
The brand is excellent. Glass on lens what shattered when I opened the glass case, yet the box was undamaged. Appears to be a quality control issues.

Not quite as good as I expected.
I tried a friend’s “Costa Del Mar Jose Pro Sunglasses” and was so impressed that I went out and bought a pair of my own. Although they’re supposed to be exactly the same, they are quite different. I first noticed some flash left on the rubber nose bridge. It was very irritating until I removed it with an exacto knife. The fit is more snug, to the point of becoming uncomfortable after a short period of time. For now, I’ll attribute that to my friends having been worn for a while and possibly stretched out. While the optics are fine, they just don’t seem as astonishing as my friends glasses. The glasses fit further down my nose than the other pair. The other’s naturally closer to my eyes without the tendency to slide down. I’ll keep giving these a try and I’ll see of things “break in” some over time.
