Hello, how could I know if a rattan webbing has a good quality?

I look for consistency in the strands as far as the width. Additionally, if the strands look almost split, they don't hold up well, at least in chair seats.

Don't know. but it looks good when the right person does the installing.

It is not for seats with drilled holes; that requires weaving hole to hole, a tedious, but fun process. For instruction, I recommend 'The Caner's Handbook' by Miller and Widess
