The plastic base isn't great either (not just because of the colour) but it ...
I guess, although it doesn't state a colour in the advert I assumed it would be black to blend in with the majority of car interiors.Unfortunately it isn't it's white.I also assumed the ball itself would be magnetic, and a thin metal plate would be mounted on my phone - also incorrect. In fact the ball bearing is just that, glued (badly as it happens) to a plastic base. The magnetic part is left to a thick washer (not stainless steel). There a re a couple of thin bits of metal that then magnetically stick to the washer - the problem here is that the magnetism isn't great so the phone "droops" - that's why you see the tablet at a weird angle in the advert, it just basically "fell there".I'm only using this is a 6" phone - there's no chance at all t'd work with a tablet.The plastic base isn't great either (not just because of the colour) but it has a thin outer border and a small cirulcar bit, the rest is hollow, so the double sided pad has very little to adhere to.All in all - it's rubbish. I'm not going to bother keeping it in the car as (a) it looks awful and (b) it doesn't actually work all that well..

Worth the money
Great i use it in my truck to watch tv on my phone when waiting to tip ect really good desine just not the best to look at
