This is the second truss/belt I’ve had and it’s the one I’ll keep and continue to wear. It has a “grippy” inside surface so it stays in place so I’m not adjusting straps and or hiking the truss up, down or back into place all day. It’s unilateral so it will work on either side. The single strap going between your legs is fully adjustable so it doesn’t wind up feeling like you’re wearing a thong. Maybe some people like that but it’s not my thing. The one I had previously is a double strapped truss and both straps were constantly needing to be extracted from you know where.You will know you’re wearing this truss but it’s not terribly uncomfortable. There can be some chafing if worn against your skin but it definitely stays in place wearing it in this fashion. It could absolutely be the best device out there if it had some sort of hem or boarder stitching to conceal the edges and Velcro. Other than that this is working perfectly to keep my hernia inside during strenuous exercise and activities. Between this device and developing a better core routine I should be able to recover enough to not need surgery.I’m a bodybuilder of 40 years so this allows me to get back into my sport without needing the surgery. This is my goal but maybe not yours. The only time my hernia pops out is during heavy squats but once I’m standing upright again it goes right back inside.The company is very responsive to any inquiry you might have.I’ll probably end up getting two so I can alternate them when one is being washed.The pads are perfectly functional and do exactly what they are intended to do.It’s a keeper.

I've had a few of these and this one is the better one.Fits snug, keeps the hernia in place with very little pain if any.The only thing is the skin chaffing at the Velcro connection.

Great product and does the job well I haven't had an issue since I have been wearing it. It’s comfortable to wear. Great price and it gives support for my hernia, easy to move in as well.

I bought this to replace an earlier order of a cheaper brand which is not much good. After my first day of use, I think this one might be ideal. The waist belt is close to 3 inches wide and made of super strong elastic, which provides more than enough tightness. Its width helps it to lie flat against the body without rolling. The crotch belt elasticity is also more than enough for me, meaning as it begins to stretch with age there will still be enough tension to do the job. The Velcro is very grabby and in the right places, should last a long time. I will try to pull it on each morning without having to adjust the belt, to preserve the velcro. Comes with 2 pads, the thinner one is perfect for me.So far, very pleased. At the end of the day, no discomfort at all. My hernia has been there for 30 years or so, never painful, I press it back into place each morning and with a good truss it stays in place for the rest of the day.I am in my 80s now, and plan to wear a truss until the end. Will leave instructions for the embalmer on my adjustment preferences.

This is a well-made product but has a potential shortcoming.I have an inguinal hernia which is somewhat lower, apparently, than some. I had previously bought a similar product but one that came with a small "bean shaped" detachable pillow. It turned out that the pillow was required (in my case) to reach and provide sufficient support for my particular condition. So, while slightly more expensive (~$5), I recommend getting a belt that has the detachable pillow "just in case".

I guess I would tell the seller of this product to offer pictures of a man or woman that has a midsize belly ,I wore this this morning for two hours Iam 74 168 lbs 5ft8.5 inches with a midsize belly .My opinion, it is not for every day use but to use it if you plan on lifting medium to heavy weights for a short period of time I can see it benefits.Plus the different size of pads do hurt when you bend forward to pick something off the ground or sittng and leaning forward.For me I could not wear all day

This is the third hernia belt I have purchased. It is absolutely the best and everything promised in the product write-up. My first thought is that it was designed by people who knew what was needed and how to achieve the best result. And, obviously it not overpriced - a great value. As for comfort, I was surprised at how quickly I forgot I had it on. Many thanks.
