KnorrRice Side Dish, Creamy Chicken, 5.7 oz (8-Count)

I buy these packages of rice sides to use in my food storage. The rice cooks up to a thicker consistency and I add a can of white chicken to the rice. It tastes good, easy to make and simple to combine for a quick food storage meal for 2. You could serve 3 with smaller portions but I’ve found that as a meal for 2 adults, this combo is very filling and satisfying.I repackage the rice meal so that it is sealed and lasts longer…now that I think about this, I think that I will store a heavy bag that can be sealed with the right measure of water.

Good addition to my pantry. Happened to be a good price which is why I bought it. Been purchasing groceries based on price then making meals based on that. In my experience the freshness and quality lasts for years, well beyond any best by date. I like creamy chicken because it goes with everything, can be doctored up, or can have broth added to it to use toward a big pot of cheap soup. Can further stretch it by adding in plain rice. It has a plenty of flavor (to me). Love Knorr products. Grow up: if you dont find it flavorful enough, why toss it? Donate it, or use other spices and flavorings to make it work.Currently $22! It has gone way up in price since buying this last month ($8.57 regular price, a buck less for Subscribe & Save, which is what I did), further reinforcing the need to "buy what you can while you can". When I saw these for around a $1 per packet, I figured that was the going price for a couple of years, and would soon go up. Sure did! Now if you are looking at this.. eh, it may be a matter of having something in your pantry while you can still buy something even if the price isn't ideal. As prices goes up, availability goes down, issues with crops around the world will catch up soon. We have food now because we are still working off of old harvests. Etc. Just get what you can while you can. Shop sales, shop regularly to take advantage of sales, prepare meals based on sales, and keep stacking your cupboards! (if no room, then take a storeage container and tuck away in a closet, underbed, or make a table out of it).BTW, I DO NOT rate on price. We can all see the price before ordering, we all have different budgets, needs, preferences, and prices fluctuate frequently.

Great price and I add chicken broth and broccoli and other veggies to it when I need to. Nice to have on hand. The expiration date is way ahead in time... Nicely packed in its own little box. Good brand too! Quick Shipping!

These Knorr side dishes are easy to prepare and taste great. This order was for a friend, I sent along with a lot of other pantry - shelf stable stuff and this is one of her favs. 5.7 packages, 8 count. This rice package is a great, easy-to-prepare side dish. Even my kids can make it on their own.

My kids and grandkids love this rice. It is much better than the plain chicken rice. I dont use the milk in it and you cant tell it in the taste. They are grown now but still eat it. The other flavors are good too.
