Greatest invention on the face of the earth
If I could give this 10 stars I would. Who would have thought that a 12 volt refrigerator freezer could be this great and efficient. The inverter compressor is very quiet constantly adjusting is speed to efficiently use power. The most this device pulls is 2.5amps or 37 watts. It can easily flash freeze by dropping the temperature down to -8 F. I never have to waste my money on ice again. The fact that you don’t need ice means that you don’t need as large of a cooler. I fit more in this than my 55 gallon Coleman because I don’t need ice. I take it everywhere. If you plug it in and pre-cool it to zero and then take it on the road with the battery it will keep stuff at 30 degrees about 10 hours on a charge. Get the insulated cover it makes a huge difference in battery life. Without the cover it’s about 50% less efficient on battery power. I bought 2 batteries so I can keep Italian ices in it at -4 degrees all day. It’s always great to bring a meat freezer with you when you buy ice cream in the summer. You can get it home without it melting. It isn’t too heavy even with food in it. It’s easy to transport because its size is very manageable. I love the fact that it keeps your settings when you swap batteries. The interior has a wonderful lighting system that works just like a regular refrigerator. If they can make just one improvement it would be to have the battery just slide in. The cigarette lighter plug really holds tight into the battery making it difficult to pull out to remove battery. Other than that one tiny gripe this is truly the best gadget ever invented. I most definitely will buy a bigger one next year for use in my yard for party’s because it keeps stuff real cold even opening and closing a lot. It comes with a real nice set of accessories like a car power cord and a shorter cord for the battery.

Looking forward to my next road trip.
Arrived on time, double boxed, in excellent condition. CR PRO 30. Heavier than a similar size cooler, but that's to be expected. Has resessed finger handles on either end which does make it much easier to pick up and carry. The divider inside is removable for larger items.Used for about a week now and it stays at my set temperature well in my car and RV, 110v and 12v. Set voltage cutoff to "L" in the car so it stays on while parked. LED light is placed well and useful, bright at night..I chose this fridge because it is BougeRV! To explain. I recently replaced almost two years old BougeRV solar panels with their newest technology. Before removing the original panels I tested them and found that one was performing well below specs. I contacted their support and, after some emails and documenting the issue, they offered to compensate me with a credit back to my card, since my original panels are no longer available.I am very pleased with their support which is the primary reason that I chose a portable refrigerator from BougeRV.Will use it in my car, RV and motorhome.First use... Let it sit overnight then turned it on. Very quiet, it's hard to tell if it's running. Set to MAX and -8°f. Reached 0°f in 42 minutes.Feels sturdy, solid lid that opens easily with finger recess on the front and closes tight. Reached -8°f in less than a hour.

It works great !!
Works Great !!I purchased to leave in my work truck for bottled water. It does get down to your set temp and will stay there. So far I am able to just leave it plugged in 24/7. I have not had an issue with starting the truck after 12 hours. This weekend we used it on a Ranger 6x6 that only has a 30ah battery. No issues starting, but it only sat for maybe an hour at a time. Here are a few notes. If you place 20oz bottles of water standing up you will get 15, laying down 20 with snug fit against the walls, with about 1" to spare at top. It cools exactly like a chest freezer, so its best to pre-chill all you contents. If you do this the bottles will start to freeze after about 6 hours when set to about 20deg. The 30Qt does barely fit sideways in my f150 front seat (the door does push it about 1/2"). It does turn back on to your settings and mode when power is restored. needs to be level for quietest operation. You can hear the oil gergling if slightly tilted. After 4 days of use, I have nothing bad to say about it. I'll update if anything changes.

Good Portable Cooler/Freezer
This review is for the BougeRV CRPRO 30 Qt. Portable Cooler/Freezer.Overall, this portable freezer worked well in my temperature testing. It got cold fairly quickly, but I did not have anything inside the freezer either. Using the BougeRV Power Station, it stayed somewhat near the setpoint temperature (set at -7oF) for about 7 hours. The battery life is very linear; it dropped about 0.23% every minute at MAX mode. So, it'll probably last longer on ECO mode. The only major drawback was that it could not consistently stay at -7oF, which is the lowest temperature setting. During the 7-hour test, the temperature averaged about 2.4oF with a minimum temperature of -3.6oF and a maximum temperature of 5.1oF. Note, I used a calibrated, low-temperature thermometer that measured the inside temperature every minute. As I planned to use this freezer for certain frozen items (which are temperature-sensitive), I could not accept it averaging above 0oF.I reached out to BougeRV's Customer Service Team for a response before putting out this review. However, no one responded to me yet (even with the temperature data I sent them).Overall, most people will not care or need such a tight temperature tolerance. So, I think this is a good product overall, but just not what I needed.
