I've used Neewer photography products before and they've never disappointed me to be honest. This wide angle lense is no exception, it's ideal for large landscapes or for taking photos of big groups. Quality and performance at a fraction of the big brands costs. What's not to like?

Great for macro photographyThis wide-angle lens is ideal for macro photography,The wide angle lens is a two-in-one lens and has a macro additional lens which converts the G7X Mark III 24mm lens into an 18mm wide angle lens. It has a built-in spring which increases magnification without compromising the image quality. The lens frame is made of CNC-machined anodized aluminium alloy and a multi-layer coatings which visibly reduce glare and internal reflections.I like the weight it gives the camera as it helps stabilise it, the lens is very solidly constructed the macro feature is an extra bonus. For very high-end photographers it might not be sufficient, but for content production or standard photography it'll work fine.With all that being said, its a great wide-angle lens. The visual clarity is fantastic, and it really raises the bar for landscape photography at a very a fair price.

This Wide Angle/Macro Lens for the Canon G7X Mark III arrived well packed, in a nice looking, Neewer branded, cardboard box.Like a lot of Neewer products, the mount, extension tube and lenses are very well made and have a good finish throughout.The mounting mechanism works well, and was easy to install. Tightened using the included hex key, it seemed to grip the camera quite securely. I do like the fact that it is removable, should you no longer wish to use the adapter and lenses.Both the wide angle lens and the macro lens gave reasonably good results. Some images did turn out a little soft, when compared to the native lens, however they were still perfectly acceptable for most people’s needs. When using the lenses for video, the results were a little bit more forgiving.In conclusion, this is a well made set of lenses and mount system, that allows you to enhance your G7Xm3 camera, making it more versatile in the process. Having both the option to use wide angle shots, or shoot macro, really expands the types of shots you can take and allows you to be far more creative as a result. This type of lens kit is never going to be as sharp as a native lens, however the results will be perfectly usable for most people’s needs. So long as you have realistic expectations for what these lenses can achieve, then this is a nice little piece of kit. ~ Amazon asked me to review this product and to give my honest and impartial opinion about it. I think this is a great lens for the price as the branded lenses are really expensive , I have tried a few products from NEEWER and find there stuff to be of good quality and this is no different, I have had no problems with the fitting and seems to be a nice snug fit, It does give really good quality images and tbh cannot see the difference in this to the ones that cost a lot more money, overall it's def worth the price tag and the versatility is great.

This is a great set-up that is cost-effective too, the lens has given me great results in my photos. It’s given me great versatility in macro images as well as offering a wide-angle lens that has upped my game.The quality of the lens is top notch too, now, my photos are crisp and clear without doing much colour correction.I don't understand the tech behind the lens but I do know the results far outweigh the price.

I really wanted something that would make my videos look way better than a standard DSLR camera and relatively compact. The Canon g7x is a powerful camera and has excellent AF for video but I am a photographer at heart and the image stabilisation is infuriating inferior, and the battery life is dismal, Having said that this is not about the camera but the lens and the lens did make a significant difference.The wind angle lens Is very well-built. It does give the Canon some weight which, ironically, I do like because it stabilises. I got this for the wide angle and figured if I could use the macro that's an added bonus, and I'm glad I went in with that mindset because my initial pics using the macro were an epic failure. The wide-angle and micro lenses work well enough. They might not be adequate for really high-end, artistic photos but for content creation, etc but for generic phone taking, they'll do the job.I'm not a professional, but I love it. I love the picture quality. Definitely takes scenery pictures to a whole new level. The piece is sturdy and durable! I accidentally dropped it but it seemed to hold up well. The macro lens can easily get VERY close to an object to fully fill out that sensor and 20 MP, and the 18mm lens view does widen it out. Although, given that you have to zoom in all the way, there isn't as much of a difference between a zoomed-in 18mm versus a non-zoomed 24mm. Nonetheless, the macro conversion is AWESOME. The 18mm still gets you close with a wide view.Overall a bargain for what can be achieved with it. Highly recommend.Hope this review helps.

This makes for nice wide-angle shots and I believe the extension tube can also be used for macro too, I'm using it wide and the results are much better than expected at this price point, very impressive, it's easy to fit and comes with tools also to do this, all in all, I've been very impressed, especially at this price it's great value for money.

These lenses are literally the most used lenses I use along with friends when we are filming stuffOptically very clear and without imperfections.Allows you to bring your camera to a new levelClip on well and don't work loose, even after constant on and off use.Taking pictures from a different aspect.

First of all, my G7x MK3 is on order and should arrive shortly. Out of stock, right in time for Black Friday, so I got a good deal on it. I'll update once it arrives!I wanted a non-permanent and easy to remove accessory for any Canon G7x MK3 owner, without taking up too much space in my kit. It's not perfect but good to have on hand. The extra wide angle, especially when using the Canon in video, in a non-stabilized tripod setup. The 24mm on the G7x at its widest isn't that wide, but the 24mm is only in specific settings in both video and photo, so this lens provides a wider angle at 18mm equivalent.This kit includes a well made aluminum/plastic combination mount, uses friction to mount with allen key, its not super convenient to remove and put on, but its more solidly attached and secured, and less ugly when removed.As an amateur, my non professional opinion and also without the camera yet, is that the glass is sharp and has surprisingly good optics for a 3rd party, even at the edges, with all the crazy projections going on. There are two lenses here. The screw tolerance is tight and obviously well made. I got filters for this lens, especially when I know I'll be using it outdoors during the day for landscape, a CPL and ND should improve quality.Overall, this kit is a very good 3rd party macro/wide lens adapter set. It definitely adds some bulk but also some additional functions to the limited 24mm at its widest on the G7x MK3. It's quite portable and simple to use, so its in my kit! I can't wait to use it!

Wide lens works well, but the attachment is quite heavy. It also blocks the flash light, which I use a lot. Not sure if I would be using this attachment.

Canon G7X Mark IIIに一味違う画角をプラス広角の魅力は撮った人にしかわからない興奮があります。風景や狭い部屋での撮影、セルフィーもOKです。風景などは空も広く写るので空間描写ができます。一味も二味も違う物になるでしょう。私は一眼も使いますが手軽に持てるコンデジにも付けてみました。設置も簡単ですぐに出来ました。一眼とは違うまた味のある広角を体験できコンデジの追加レンズもいいものですね。満足です。
