Shine A Light
We bought these LED Spot bulbs as it is getting harder to find the old incandescent 60W Spot Bulbs and when you do find them they are a lot dear than they used to be.We were a bit dubious about these new-fangled 8W LED Spot Bulbs in the Kitchen to replace are regular 60W bulbs but these LED bulbs are well made and give you a nice clear bright white light.Did not realise how yellow the light from the old incandescent Spot bulb were. I ended up replacing the working one as well. These give out a brighter light and are so much more efficient than the incandescent technology.Update 04/01/2020.Two of the bulbs have now failed, the third is still going.So they have lasted 18 months of normal use of about 5 hours a day in the kitchen.Manufactures quote of 30,000 Hours use is more like 3000 hours.This new LED bulb technology is not all it's cracked up to be.
