German made, bargain price
Love this brand, they always deliver. I needed something sturdy but compact as an XY configuration for drum overheads and this fit the bill perfectly. Seems pretty solid, doesn't wobble around

Tidy work, in good materials. Price was not too bad for about ten pounds and some pennies.Interestingly a claimed feature is that there are "no parts to lose"; as shipped it had a thin red elastic band to make sure the knobs were not detached from the bar in transit, clearly they are none too sure of that "feature" themselves, that was a tad ironic in my view, and caused me a wry grin. You can't really leave the band in place as it would interfere with the functionality.I've tried a few of these things and this one is the tidiest built one of them all so far.If I need another I'll happily choose this one as a first choice above other types, but only if Amazon have them in stock, and sadly that seems a bit sporadic so far; it's often out of stock and for sometimes a longer period than is strictly helpful.

Is it not 50cm long!
Good quality and greatly made just not the length it should be

Very happy with it
You really rather have to have a stereo bar in your bag (along with a pair of matched condensers to stick on it, of course).A lot of noobs are surprised when they see just how small stereo bars are. Well, only a few inches of separation and a few degrees of angling are necessary for XY or AB work. With a bit of ingenuity, a boom stand and a figure-8, this can also be used to rig a Mid-Side setup, of course.

Solid and does the job!.
Solid construction and just the right size for the job I wanted it for. I have a Rode NT2a I use for it's figure 8 sat on top of a AT4033a. Up until I bought this, I was using 2 mic stands, very awkward for a classic M/S setup, and taking up way too much room in my small studio. Highly recommended, can handle a decent weight load.

It's a piece of metal with a hole in it and two screws through it
Pretty good, works.

Short but fairly robust stereo bar
This is a fairly short 'stereo bar' of 6 3/4" between centres and is fairly robust. There is only the small microphone thread catered for which is sufficient for short microphones in a stereo setup - say, ORTF @ 170 deg.
