I LIKE the flavour. Yes it's very sharp. I don't chew though, I suck it like a 'sweet'. :)

Q: Is it a hassle to break them in half?

I just swallow them whole with milk or water but don't see why you can't cut them in half

Q: Does this vitamin c contain corn? could you tell me please what the ascorbic acid is made from this solgar vitamin c?

Looked at my label - corn is not mentioned. The ascorbic acid is L-Ascorbic acid which would indicate it is a natural source. If it is D- the vitamin or mineral is a is a chemical source. I am not a doctor but an avid user of Solgar products. I find them to be the best.
