This was a pleasant surprise! I've never really thought PHD produced decent protein bars - always associated them with okish protein bars. How wrong I was. Probably the nicest protein bars I've had in quite a long time. Instead of having a dessert or something sweet - this protein bar provided that sweet tasty fix whilst keeping me in line with my macros. Would definitely recommend to others. Price was almost unbeatable at £14 - in fact at that price I don't think there is a better protein bar on the market.

These have been the only decent tasting protein bars on the market for a long time but now they’ve changed the recipe and they have that horrible fake taste and gluey texture all the others have… What a massive disappointment - if they don’t go back to the old recipe I definitely won’t be buying again 😟

I had this product on save&subscribe for years. Really enjoyed them, tasted nice, simply the best protein bars I ever had. Unfortunately I'm echoing what other people said about change of recipe/ingredients, because now they are totally different and taste awful. How did they manage to ruin such a successful product :( The only thing I want to add here is that I have been in Italy for three weeks (July 2023) and I have bought 4 individual boxes through Amazon Italy and I have received the nice ones (old recipe). Unfortunately I can't get them delivered here in the UK. I wish I could. I would be happy to pay more for delivery.

I usually go for the carb killa bars but I bought these on a deal for a change. I think they taste amazing and make you feel like your eating a proper chocolate bar. I found that I don’t get the strange aftertaste that you get from a lot of protein bars and they are layered and full of flavour. I’ve also tried the dark chocolate raspberry flavour and they taste amazing aswell. Macro wise, these bars are really good and I’m finding them absolutely fine with my low carb diet. They haven’t stopped my weight loss but I am pretty strict everywhere else. I would say one thing and that is that I have gone from two to one a day as with my protein shake aswell I was getting a bit of an upset stomach. I take one either as a snack or as a meal and only on the five days per week that I train. Also depending on how much time I have to prepare food. I recommend these bars as a tasty way to get your protein and I personally think that they are a real treat.

My fiancé loves these bars on his lunch break, low in sugar, high in protein. Much better value buying in bulk on amazon compared to supermarkets or holland & barret, we got 43% off and paid £16 something for the whole box. They’re large and really filling. Crunchy texture and sweet tasting. Nicely packaged too. Recommend.

The only protein bars on the market I ate that filled me up and tasted great, now they’ve changed the recipe the texture is completely different and they aren’t filling at all. Gutted!

Great product and service highly recommended

Most of the flavours of PHD are decent but this Chocolate Brownie along with the white chocolate version are the best in my opinion. The white chocolate is quite sweet but tastes very good.

Ich habe schon viele Protein riegel ausprobiert. Selten schmeckt er so gut wie er auf der Verpackung aussieht. Einer der besten Riegel die ich gegessen habe.

I chose a plant-based protein bar expecting it to be made with natural ingredients. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. This bar contains seven added additives that should generally be avoided in a healthy diet—some of which are even considered high-risk. A bit disappointing, especially for something marketed as a “clean” option.
