Q: Can meat be added to this biscuit

Yes I had a small sachet of Meat to my dogs meal

Q: Can anyone tell me what the percentage of protein is for this? I have been advised not to feed my Greyhound on anything more than 20%. Thanks

I can only tell you this I have a Scottie with a delicate digestion she has been fed on Chappie for ten years -(I tried everything on the market before that) I have no problems with Chappie - I have another dog who is sixteen and has eaten Chappie tinned and dry with no problems too - I hope that helps?

Q: Is this the original with fish not with chicken or beef

It says on the Chappie Original tin I have : Rich in White fish - No eggs or diary - no red meat or soya - no artificial colour or flavours. However, under Healthy skin and Coat is written:- Composition: fish and fish derivative (including 14% whitefish) cereals, meat and animal derivatives (including 4% chicken) oils and fats, minerals, herbs. But I don't have a sack left of the original dry food to check. I hope this helps answer the query?

Excellent dog kibble

We have three dogs and have three other family dogs who we mind sometimes so it's always a good idea to have an extra suppky of kibble. If you check online, you will find Chappie is also surprisingly good quality these days.My only complaint, is we were sent a bag that had obviously been split open in the warehouse and just taped back up, meaning by the time it got to us it had re-opened and there was 15kg of biscuits all over the place. Someone, clearly, had been aware of this as the sack was also in a clear bin bag. We should not have had to pay full price for this as we have no idea how long it had been open and whether or not any mice had got to it.

Dogs are happy and healthy on Chappie.

My dogs used to have the occasional slestery turd, all a bit of a mess when on poo patrol and there was absolutely no chance of gripping it into a bag. Now there’s easy to find firm logs in the back garden which are impressive and easy to clean, dogs are healthy and eat the food easily, it must be filling and tasty as they eat what they need and come back for more later.

Chappie perfect for my old gal with sensitive tummy and pancreatic issues. Only brand she can eat for a while. Even hills and other vet issued brands didn't help . Its good
