The best emulsion.
Anyone who has emulsioned walls and ceilings knows there is a knack to painting corners because when the roller goes down the edge of one wall, it leaves marks on the wall next to it.So we have to paint the corners in (cut in) so the roller doesn't have to touch the adjacent wall and we get a seamless coverage. We also know that if your cut in section of paint dries before you paint the wall, you can get a visible stripe and we end up having to do several coats and use primer and all sorts of time consuming things to cover the dried cut in.This emulsion ( which used to be called "Once") puts a stop to all that. It's nice and thick and covers the cut in bits beautifully.I will give you an example....My staircase has very a high ceiling and walls.Impossible to reach without using an extension pole.Last week I was emulsioning it.I had done one wall and had painted the cut in to the next when.....the extension pole broke.I had to drive to the nearest store to buy a new one.My cutting in was bone dry by the time I got back.Using this high quality paint ensured no stripe was visible after the wall was finished. It makes the job much easier because it really does mean you only have to do one coat.Yes it is a bit more expensive than regular emulsion, but I think it works out as better value overall because you don't need undercoat or to paint a second coat. It's not too thick or gloopy but it's not too thin either. It's the perfect consistency and gives great coverage.I have already ordered more for the next DIY job.PSit's approx ten quid cheaper on amazon than in B & Q

Tiny Tins, Big Rescue!
As a renter nearing the end of my tenancy, I was facing the age-old dilemma: how to cover those inevitable bumps, scuffs, and mysterious crayon scribbles on the walls without a full repaint? Enter Dulux Simply Refresh Tester Pots – my newfound heroes!Mini Marvels: Don't underestimate their size! These 30ml pots pack a punch. The one-coat formula is no gimmick – I effortlessly tackled marks on various surfaces (plaster, woodchip), with smooth, even coverage that disguised even the most stubborn blemishes. I was amazed at how such a small amount could achieve such a professional-looking finish.Color Confidence: The vast color selection was another standout. I found the perfect neutral shade to seamlessly blend with the existing walls, ensuring a uniform and fresh look. The testers saved me the agony of buying gallons of paint only to discover the wrong shade in my poorly lit room!Budget-Friendly Fix: Let's face it, moving is expensive. These testers are a steal compared to full tins, making them a perfect budget-conscious solution for any renter or homeowner looking for quick touch-ups. Who says quality has to come at a premium?Effortless Application: No need to break out the paintbrushes and drop sheets. These testers come with a handy brush attached, making application an absolute breeze. Even someone with zero painting experience (♀️ me!) can achieve flawless results. Cleanup was a breeze too – just rinse the brush and store the pot for future touch-ups.Vine Worthiness: These tester pots are a game-changer for anyone facing minor wall imperfections. They're affordable, effective, and incredibly user-friendly – basically everything you'd expect from a top-notch Amazon Vine product. They saved me time, money, and stress, and I know they'll do the same for countless other reviewers.Final Verdict: Dulux Simply Refresh Tester Pots are an absolute must-have for any renter, homeowner, or DIY enthusiast. They're tiny tins with a mighty impact, and I couldn't recommend them more highly! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Make sure to get a couple of those as 30ml is actually quite less.

Lovely neutral colour
Love the colour! it’s a warm, soft neutral that really brightens the space without being too yellow or too grey. It gives the room a calm, cosy feel. That said, the paint did need a really good stir – found some hard bits throughout the tin, which was a bit annoying. Definitely recommend giving it a thorough mix before you start. I’m still planning to do another coat and tackle the ceiling, but so far it’s looking lovely.Would buy again for the colour alone, just wish the texture had been a bit smoother straight out the tin!I had bought one from bnq previously that was a bit better.
