Get the longest ones.
The longest ones actually provide some form of protection and support when I punch stuff. The shorter of the two is where I started out and it just doesnt give that much protection for the thickness of the material is quite thin. The longer ones do provide enough to wrap comfortably but i do wish they were a little/lot thicker.
