I started taking Saffron for my blood pressure. It worked. It's been nice taking this saffron supplement. I haven't noticed too much in energy level change, but I have noticed my lost of appetite after taking this. It made me feel a tiny bit like gagging, but at least I didn't feel hungry most of the day.

I love the saffron! It gives me the energy to be the caregiver my husband needs but I have a "feel good sense" and not a jittery feeling that other supplements gave me.

I took 1 dose per day (rather than the label recommended 2) for three days and felt foggy and irritable each day. I finally checked the dosage to the recommended per day mg. Each capsule is 3 times the daily recommended dose. Turns out an excess of this amount leads to unpleasant symptoms including brain fog and irritability.
