Papa, Please Get the Moon for ME (World of Eric Carle)

Eric Carl wrote lots. This is one of the treasures. Less known. Never met it growing up. Happily I now know it. Good quality hardback board book.

I am not a big fan of Carle's illustrations, so was not sure about getting this one, but it has been an instant hit - the pages are indeed so colourful and the simple story is sweet and effective. Highly recommended!

This book is fantastic, I've bought a few books about the moon for my son, and this one is especially special and different and creative. The only thing is that if your child is little they will want to touch [and therefore tear!] the pieces that fold open. So it leaves you in a bit of a moral dilemma! but its beautiful, absolutely beautiful whether you save it till small person is older, or risk it not lasting, both would work. I would give this as a gift to adults, it just encapsulates the absolute devotion and love of a father [at least this one!] to their child. I also like the fact that the child is a little girl. just to keep the balance.

I wasnt aware when I purchased this that I had ordered a board book version however it definitely didn't disappoint. Great book and beautiful illustrations. I love the fold out pages it makes the story very engaging.

Lovely book and story. But worth noting there are are paper pages that you need to lit up or pull out. I brought the board book as my little boy could easily use the book and not destroy it - but I’m sure he will soon rip all the paper pages.

We loved the story and were happily surprised by the flaps. Great bed time story!

This story is adored by my three young sons (ages 4, 2 and 1), it sparks conversations and excitement while reading. Definitely a firm favourite on our bookshelf!

The book and illustrations are lovely and there are pull out flaps to delight children. It's hard wearing. I found the actual story a little odd!

Love this little board book. The bigger book was my daughter's favorite, so we got the board book for her daughter - great book for her book collection.
