Gets the job done
Pros: 1. The self emptying option ensures I don't have to worry about the bin being full 2. Decent obstacle avoidance. Avoids running over wires, shoes etc. 3. The mapping quality is good 4. Docks on its own when running out of battery power Cons: 1. The sound while emptying the bin is too loud. 2. It detects the obstacles only in it's line of sight. A LIDAR would have done much better 4. Sometimes has trouble in docking. 3. Too costly in India. Much cheaper in the US. 4. Also the accessories are costly as well.

Not very good product
Comparing to many robot vacuum cleaner available in the market, this so called new product appears to be out dated technology. It doesn’t have a GPS location mapping instead there is a camera in front and it requires some light and it is useless. It leaves lot of dirt particularly if they slightly bigger. The machines sees those as obstacles hence avoids taking them off. Since there is no GPS it doesn’t act intelligently hence repeating cleaning in the same place and takes more time to complete the cleaning which is almost double the time of other products. The good point is self cleaning technology is good and the centre brush technology is impressive that no hairs or thread is tangled. I have been using various brands of Robot cleaner, but this one I will never buy again.

Great Product, But Prepare for Disappointment After Warranty Ends
I’ve been an iRobot loyalist for years and genuinely believed in the brand’s innovation and quality. My Braava Jet M6 served me well for about 4.5 years — consistent, reliable, and efficient. But once it stopped working, everything changed. Here’s the real issue: post-warranty support is practically nonexistent. Despite paying a premium for what’s marketed as a “smart” and “sustainable” cleaning solution, the moment your warranty expires, you’re left with what is essentially a very expensive paperweight. When I approached iRobot for help, I was told to buy a “service robot” — a replacement unit that comes without a battery, accessories, or docking station. That’s not support; that’s a repurchase. If this is their only solution, it raises serious questions: Is the issue truly unresolvable? Or is this a subtle form of planned obsolescence built into the business model? It’s disappointing that a brand built on innovation doesn’t have a repair, refurbishment, or part-replacement pathway for loyal customers. For now, my once-trusted Braava Jet M6 sits in a corner collecting dust — a reminder that great engineering means little if service and sustainability don’t follow through. iRobot, it’s time to step up and offer real solutions for “dead bricks.”

Poor battery
Been using it for the last two years. Initially it ran for over an hour and a half and finished the whole house in one run. Now it takes 50 mins to run out of battery and the service centre says its expected.
