Good for one summer but have other uses after
If your going to buy these from this seller suggest you double them up & glue round the top edge then there fine its only due to how thin they are. I would also recommend that you hang a chrome wind chime near buy otherwise the birds will pull them apart for there nests. Don't throw them away at the end of the season empty the soil plants etc. then cut a hole like a mouse hole but twice the size put them at the bottom of the garden turn them up side down with some straw, hay, or died off grass cuttings then put a small amount of soil over the top. Then if you have a saucer & put some water in it Then if you just put a few cat biscuits around your garden leading to the nest you should start to see Hedgehogs appear remember these little spikey animals love eating slugs caterpillar's etc. therefore you will save a fortune on slug bait avoid weed killer if poss. they love eating all the things that seem to want to eat all are plaints they will soon help your garden if you just give them a chance.... A great replacement for our wall trough.
A great replacement for our wall trough. A problem we had (and I'm sure many others consumers would have experience too), bird would come along a peck away at the weaving of the trough, to use for nesting. What I did this time was to cover the outer side of the trough with a thin black material ground sheet (secured with staples from inside, feels like thin cloth at the touch). Two benefits came from this, firstly the birds can no longer peck away the weave and secondly the black covering actually looks really really good, nice contact against the walls and flower currently in the trough. Hope you find this useful.

Wrong size
I recieved the 24 inch Blacksman wall Troughs gardman very quickly, but dissapointed to find they were too shallow, however a friend gave me some cocomatting& using black plastic managed to use them.Wish that they had been the right size.

The product was too shallow.
I purchased troughs like this 2 or 3 years ago and they fitted into the holders perfectly. These, although good quality are too small. I have used them in the hope the plants contained in them will grow quickly and hide the fact they are not really suitable for purpose.

Great for the troughs
We use these preformed ones as the birds can't take the material away for nesting.I would suggest paying the extra for posting as Royal Mail took a few weeks to deliver these even though they were despatched almost straight away. As i hadn't received them i ordered more and paid for the delivery and they arrived within two days. They look great and fit the troughs very well although i also always put in a plastic liner too (i cut up an old compost bag).

Too small
This was far too small for my hay rack planter. I took a chance that it would be deep enough if the width was correct but sadly not. Depth measurements should be given for this item. The quality is fine and would have suited but for the shallowness of the liner. Had I not thrown away the wrapping I would have returned this item.

Great product, does the job.
I have got these liners from the same supplier for the passed few years now and they have proven invaluable, delivered a matter of days after order. Looks great and holds compost/plants perfectly. Great dependable supplier, great dependable product. Thank you.

Adequate, BUT.....
This is the second of these which I have ordered recently. They fit the 24" troughs very well and there is no issue with that, the problem is how they are packed. The first one arrived folded in a plastic mailing bag. As soon as it was unwrapped, it sprang into shape. The second one, which arrived two days later was in a box and had been bound with wide sticky tape. As the tape was removed - and I did it very carefully, aware of what was possibly going to happen - it took a large chunk of the fibre with it, leaving one side of the liner almost holed through. Needless to say, I'm less than impressed!
