Black Handy Hoop Ring Sack Bin Refuse Garbage Bag Holder Plastic with Handle New

Six months I’ve been using one and I admire the simplicity and usefulness every time I walk past it. I use it for transparent recycling bags, hang it on the inside back door handle and just pitch stuff in each time I pass. Somehow, no doubt after very careful calculations and testing, the neck of the ring always holds the bag open at the top so I can get a hole in one and even as the bag fills, the sponge grip on the ring keeps the bag firmly held to the door handle, without fail.

Not used it yet but seems sturdy enough.What is the green clip (circled in pic) for? Can’t see any reference to it on packaging.

This hoop works great for assisting with litter picking, it stops the wind from blowing the bag closed. I haven't had any issues with the green clips they seem quite sturdy.

It’s light and the grips hold well to the plastic bag. Just the right size opening to put items, garden leaves etc. I bought this one bc I gave my other one to the street bin man. The council refused to get him one. He said it’s much easier as the plastic bags keep folding up every time he tries to pick litter up. His trolley is sometimes too big to cart into smaller spaces. So the ring is good for him too. 🙌

I purchased my first "Handy Hoop" in February 2019 and was very pleased with it. The hoop was a reasonable size and thickness. The litter bags stayed in place well, until they were about half full and then the weight of the bags would cause them slip out of the green, holding rings. Initially, this was very irritating, until I realised that, if I filled the bags to the top, they were too heavy for me to carry, so, half-full, two-thirds-full, were better options for me.I purchased a second ring a few days ago - May 2020 - , ( for my sister, who has joined me on my litter-lifting outings), and I am very dissapointed with what was sent to me. The new design rings are not the same as the image shown in the listing, and definitely not the same as the ring I purchased last year. The new rings are thinner, the foam "grip" handle, is smaller, and not as comfortable to hold as the original design. The biggest problem with the new design, is that the green rings that hold the litter bag in place, are nearly impossible to lift off of the hoop, and almost as hard to get back on again. I had to use a flat-head screwdriver to get the green rings to open, so that I could put the litter bag onto the hoop.Whoever designed the new rings, needs to go and sit on the naughty step for a while, and then change the design back to what it was before.

I was a bit dubious about getting another hoop ring although this time from a different supplier to enable me to go litter picking at the weekends as the last one arrived broken and was not worth the money. This one however is sturdy has a lovely soft handle and the bags are easy to fit under the clips. Its definitely worth the money and just as good if not more than the expensive ones. Happy Bunny !

I am on my 3rd one but I do a lot of litter picking and like this one. Eventually the clips break but I do get a lot of use before this happens and the bags I collect are heavy

I bought a litter picker on Black Friday and found it was quite tricky to get the litter in the bag that I was carrying so I popped onto Amazon and found this tool for keeping the bag open while you carry it. It's great! I've picked up 3 or 4 bags of litter with it and with the litter picker, it saves on bending up and down all the time.GOOD: It was easy to get the bags on the ring. There are semi-circular clips on the hoop that you pull up from the inside side of the hoop, put the bag in, then then press them back down to secure the bag. And you're off! The foam handle helps with grip, especially if you are wearing gloves. It's going to make litter picking much easier and save me time too!BAD?: The clips look like plastic and although they have a hinge I wonder how robust they are. They look like they may break if you open them too far, if not immediately, then in the future after repeated use. I will probably be using it on a 2 or 3 monthly basis to pick up a few bags of litter, so it's not going to get heavy use, so time will tell about the clips. Although the foam handle is great, I also wonder if it will start to disintegrate. I will try and put up another report in the future.
