I've been a mechanic for over a decade and this is one of the best products I've ever used. It makes it safe and easy for me to get into the engine bay of large SUV's and trucks. I can confidently climb the Auto Step and carry parts and tools with me without the fear of falling or dropping anything. I used to own one of those collapsible tire steps that hangs on the tire... Those are great until you step too far forward or back and the tire starts to roll, sending adrenaline coursing through your veins. Then you have to explain to the vehicle owner, and boss, why there are tool dents in the side of their vehicle because you had a mini heart attack and dropped everything you had in order to save yourself from paralysis. Or so it felt...This thing is awesome. Point blank. It has so many uses besides what it was intended for. I've used it to unload the back of my truck, wash the roof of my truck, fix my neighbor's roof rack on his SUV. This thing is so stable, I've even just leaned it against the wall in the garage and used it to hang shelving brackets. The rubber feet keep it planted even on slick concrete...Well worth the money!
