Works very wellc
I like this little motion detector. I use it to notify me when a 4-legged night time intruder comes to my back porch. So far, I've relocated a possum with a litter and frightened off a couple of juvenile racoons, all coming to eat the cat food I put out for the local feral cats I capture for TNR. It does not make any noise outside. It triggers the receiver in the house. The sensor is portable, and battery operated while the receiver plugs into a standard A/C outlet inside, making it easy to move. I've had not issues with connections.

Buy this!
This is fantastic! I got it to put outside our sliding glass door because I’m not always in that room when the cat is ready to come back in. I just placed it on the porch floor so it scans parallel to the door and it detects when kitty sits right in front of door. I made a mistake and ordered the sensor with only one receiver/chime. I wanted the 2 receiver, but this one is loud enough to hear in a few rooms. Definitely recommend!

Excellent item
This item works perfectly since the location of our home doorbell is far away from where we hang out, and sometimes can’t hear it rings. Having the motion detector outdoors pointing down the walkway leading to the door, and the receiver located in the area where we hang out, we always know when someone is approaching the front door. Giving us a head start getting to the front door. We love it and so does the dog.

Good buy
Using for pet in cold weather when door closed to let me know it wants in AND also ding-a-lings when packages dropped off by door. :)

Works perfectly
I wanted this to alert me when my dog went upstairs in the night. It works perfectly right out of the box. The receiver and sensor were paired as soon as I plugged in the receiver. The sensor has a good range, just right for covering the stairs. Lots of alert tones to choose from. I just wanted a simple doorbell sound, it was easy to select. Good volume options as well, so it's not too loud. I like how the receiver plugs into a receptacle. No batteries to worry about on that end. Just 2 AAA's in the sensor, and these were provided. Lots of mounting options for the sensor, but we just have it sitting on a ledge on the stairwell. Didn't need to permanently mount it. Does the job we wanted it to.

Works, but inconvenient
This product has a few features I don’t like, ones that I was unaware of when I bought it.1. The sensor itself lights up when it detects motion. But I do not want the sensor to announce itself.2. The receiver settings reset whenever it is unplugged. This is unforgivable. Every such electronic unit should be designed with a CMOS battery, to retain settings when unplugged. This is a big inconvenience.3. The sensor can be powered with a USB cable, but the port used is USB-Micro. Again, unforgivable. No electronics unit should be designed with any kind of USB port other than USB-C. All pre-existing units that were designed with outdated ports other than USB-C should be redesigned. In fact, I know they already have been redesigned, because it’s illegal to sell units with outdated USB ports in the EU. But since I’m in the USA, they sold me the outdated, inferior version.4. The receiver needs one more button, which is a dedicated on/off button. The lack of this button, combined with the lack of a CMOS battery (to retain settings when the receiver is unplugged), leads to even greater inconvenience.I need this unit pretty badly right at the moment, so I will go ahead and use it, but I will be replacing it as soon as possible. Is there a positive? Yes. It does detect motion and cause the receiver to deliver an alert.
