Cialdissima Dolce Gusto Caffè Americano, compatible capsules (Total 100 Capsules, 100 Servings)

These pods are truly awful. I'm not convinced they contain real fresh ground coffee. They taste more like instant. They also drip all over the floor when you remove them from the machine.I bought these based on the 4 reviews on amazon. After doing some research I noticed that all 4 reviews were left on the same day and after looking at the profiles of each person I could see they have all left reviews for exactly the same items. This information suggests the reviews are fake.Do yourself a favour and don't buy these capsules. I'm a keen bargain hunter and I appreciate the real Dolce Gusto capsules are expensive but, trust me, they are worth it. These are just nasty.

These work perfectly well and if you like a thinner coffee they are fine, but at least 25% weaker than equivalent Dolce Gusto capsules.By time you work out the cost per pod its probably not worth it, I usually take x2 Dolce pods, these need x3.Over time I have realised that on the DG machine you NEVER move the dial above 3 bars or you just get the bitters from the coffee and use up the water more quickly, here max setting is 2 bars.So while they are a third cheaper, you use a third more, and the coffee is slightly more bitter. If you are a caterer and use a high volume, maybe in a Hotel reception or a large office, no one will complain, at home or in your office for a looked forward to cup of coffee, they don't quite make sense.

Although as a number of customers have already mentioned the swelling pods.. and the spurting out sideways.. yes they do this.. but i found it i tapped the pods a bit first it didn't seem to happen as often.. the first few did it every time.. the coffee itself is pleasant but overall i am a bit disappointed with them as i thought they would be as good as the milk pods which i have had no problems with at all.

Well so far I have used 7 pods and 3 have exploded and gone through the whole machine and drenched it. It meant I had to completely take the machine apart and clean it all. It is a genuine Dolce Gusto machine too.The coffee is spot on...frothy and a lovely taste but am not pleased with the hassle of the exploding pods

A very flavoursome coffee which I use generally in a latte.I like this coffee and friends who drink Americano without milk also approve. My only criticism is the speed at which the coffee leaves the capsule. It is very fast and I wonder if I am getting the full coffee flavour. Maybe its my machine? However this product is good value and I shall certainly use it in the future.

Sadly I have lost patience with these capsules. Nice tasting coffee marred by the experience of several capsules leaking all over the place during the brewing process, plus they actually seem to swell up making it difficult to remove the old capsule from the machineVery poor quality and definitely inferior to other products on the market

Came on time as advertised, taste is okay but the pods cause a LOT of water leakage from the sides of the pod tray. Approx 40% of the water leaks and thus compromising on taste.I initially thought that this was due to my gusto machine being old so bought a new machine.....exact same issue!

Good quality, tastes good and have a very nice foam. I had no problems with the compatibility.Significantly cheaper than the originals. The original pods taste is minimally better but this is a personal preference in the end.
