Outstanding quality and fast cutting!
I have a handyman business and I had a customer that needed an outlet mounted in a quartz countertop. I was planning on buying a hole saw at HD and scoffed at the price since I'd likely only need the saw for an occasional job. I took a chance on this saw and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the pilot bit worked and how well the hole saw cut. I made a water dam out of some plumbers putty and it kept the saw cool. After using the saw, I cleaned and inspected and it looks brand new.

Worked great on granite countertop
I have only used once on a piece of granite countertop. It appears to have plenty of life for future use. It cut easily and fast with water. The thickness helps to go all the way through entire piece of granite - it was close. Worth the money.

Works great
After I installed the tile, I cut a hole in the tile for the toilet drain. The cutter did an excellent job. The edges of the tile were clean.

Works well but made of pretty cheap metal
This item caused me quite the headache but it's not really the saw's fault. It works great going through concrete, though the tip fell out immediately and didn't really want to stay secure so I just nixed it. The problem is this is very short overall, and if you're drilling a hole longer than it, you need to find an extension. Problem is, pretty much no extension fits these SDS bits. So, it drills really well, but can also get very stuck in a concrete wall if your extension grinds down the cheap metal shank. Just be careful.

Very good quality Bits for Porcelain TILE
Dec 27, 2025 I’ve used just 1 drill bit to drill my porcelain tile on my new bathroom remodel that I have done. I’ve used one bit and drilled 22 holes with no issues whatsoever. Used a DeWalt hammer drill and pulsated the trigger as I proceeded to drill the TILE, dipping it in the water constantly. VERY Impressed. The size of this drill bit is perfect for the size I needed for grab bars and heavy duty stainless fold down seat. The trick is to keep the drill bit tube cleaned with a paper clip. And dip the bit back into the water before drilling again and pulsate about 4 to 5 times. then dipped the bit back in the water again.

Great little drill for the price...worked well on standard thickness shower wall tiles.
We pre-drilled a board that we laid on top of the tile that we wanted to drill, attaching it lightly with 4 small clamps. We then layed the tile on top of another board for support underneath. We poured water over the drilling location continuously while slowing drilling with very little downward pressure. Be patient and it'll come out fine. Be sure to follow the instructions and remove the center point drill onces the main drill section makes a little contact with the tile. (Note: There are two holes in the wood guide simply because the first one was too large and would have allowed the bit to wander too much).

Decent bit but feel it could be better
Decent but feel it could be better. I used this hole saw bit to first cut a hole through the cement board in my laundry room. I then used it to cut a hole in the porcelain tile to accommodate the dryer vent hose. It cut thru the cement board like butter but the tile was a little more resistant. It took about 15 mins to cut thru the porcelain tile. I’m the end, it cut a very clean hole but should it really take 15 mins? Perhaps I was being very careful not to break the tile but it sure seemed to take its time.

Trabajo de una forma excelente haciendo un barreno en mármol de 2cms de espesor. Al cien recomendable, no olvidar mantener agua corriendo para que se enfríe.

Works for quartz countertop. I seen another review saying it worked so decided to give it a try. It took about 10 mins with cordless drill on slow speed gear setting and light to moderate pushing pressure. I added water to the hole being cut every 1 minute to cool and lubricate the bit. Nice very clean cut hole and the hole saw still looks and feels like new. Good quality!
