Got this adapter for my phone and from the get go it’s been playing up, it would suddenly be unrecognised by the phone or it would just not work at all as well as being cheaply made

Unfortunately there’s some kind of weird incompatibility going on and I will probably have to return them. They work for playing music and ring tones will sound through them, but as soon as you pick up the phone, voices come out of the speaker and not out of the headset. So frustrating. I can’t make any WhatsApp or FaceTime calls with them. Haven’t tried normal phone calls yet… but as I mostly use WhatsApp, these aren’t going to be off any use :(Annoying as supposed to be Apple certified.

The build quality is quite poor. Connector plugs into the apple device but the female jack for the headset just slips. It needs fiddling to get any audio. Not quality controlled, which might explain the difference in price to the Apple device.

It started to disconnect randomly after a months use, and then stopped working altogether

It fits loosely in my phone and comes with so many cons.I have to constantly unplug and plug them back in because the music randomly stops coming through the earphones.The song randomly skipsDid not let me turn the volume down by my earphones, would have to use my phone to turn the volume down.Other than that the volume can go LOUD however, still wouldn’t recommend wasting you’re money on this product.
