Worked on 2007 ford focus abs diagnosis
Bought this as I had a problem with my abs system on a 2007 ford focus, I installed forscan lite to use this, I had to changed a noisy back bearing which I replaced circumstances pointed to this being the problem, I bought and connected this and it diagnosed front right sensor problem, changed out sensor and drove car and abs fault light went out, saved me days of messing about trying to diagnose the problem myself, also avoided going to autoelectrician, paid for itself first use, you get a link to free software to use this, don't bother , purchase forscan, you can also use this with a laptop via Bluetooth with forscan which you can download for free, this has a switch on it which allows it to do things that the cheaper unswitced devices can't do, forscan actually asked me to flick the switch when first used, it was easy to use,

Works with FORScan via Bluetooth very well
As the title of the review suggests, it works very well with FORScan via Bluetooth.I've used one Bluetooth OBDII adapter before and it was terrible! It took forever to do anything and it made me wary about buying this one out of fear of the issue being a limit imposed by Bluetooth. The issue I faced with the other adapter must have been unrelated to Bluetooth because this one is very fast and works with no issues. If you're having trouble connecting to it remember to first turn your car's ignition on. If it's being weird then just unplug it/plug it back in with the ignition on then connect. The Bluetooth password is either 0000 or 1234.I've used it to do an ABS flush & bleed on my 2006 Mk6 Fiesta ST150 using FORScan Lite on Android and it got the job done.

Fail. straight out of the gate. Engine off, key on (acc, power to all areas) initiated connection to phone/tablet but fails to find ecu. Tried 3 different Android apps (all of which work fine with my other adapters, other devices and other cars) each time on TWO separate devices and all of THOSE six combinations on TWO different vehicles. The bluetooth mac address of this OBDII is recognized and pairs as it should, the ecu is not found. Yes, I tried every combo with the MS and HS-CAN switch initially set to left or set to right. Obvs is looks identical to the two quid units on the bay, with a metal switch added (and one can guess the wire gauge & solder quality from the switch to the additional pins 3 and 11 (in the OBD2 standard) to also interface with the MS-CAN bus.

A great adapter for Ford OBD, albeit sadly lacking basic setup instructions, and technical support.
As a beginner with vehicle onboard diagnostics I struggled for a number of hours, and nearly threw in the towel a number of times, getting my car to communicate with this adapter and the Forscan Android app.I shall mention I am highly competent in mechanical engineering, and a good amount of modern technology, before any critics have a pop.Anyway, I'll cut to the chase, and hopefully provide some helpful tips.I eventually discovered whilst attempting to make the link between Forscan Lite and this adapter, the software would only connect when the toggle switch was set to HS-CAN. once a connection is established the software will prompt the user to switch the toggle to MS-CAN. Whilst this may not be the case for everyone it worked for me, when nothing else did.I emailed support, I received no reply. I consider this worthy of deducting one star. In fact, the way I felt during setup, I am being extremely generous! If you want to try the Forscan Lite app before committing to purchase, you can download a free compatibility/demo version for the Forscan.0rg website. There's also tons of information and user guides etc which may help you out.

Works well
This worked very well for me on a 2012 Mondeo, using the free Forscan app.A cheaper more popular device found nothing wrong, but this one found the exact problem in detail.

Doesn't connect to every Ford.
I tried this adapter, because it said it could connect to every Ford, it can't. My transit uses an unusual protocol, which this adapter is supposed to connect with, but doesn't. I tried it on several other vehicles, and it worked fine on those.
