It has been some time since I purchased this item but I think that there was a seal on the tub. I would not buy this item again from this supplier as the consistency (thicker and greasy) and the fragrance were totally different from the same product that I normally buy from a Body Shop shop. The blurb on the front and back of the tub appeared to be in a foreign language, probably French from recollection.

Q: Can I ask if there is an expiry or manufacture date on this?

No, not that I am aware of, and I have been using The body Shop body butters for a long long time.
