LOMOS Lasse Design Chest of Drawers Wooden White with Two Grey Double Doors

Despite other reviews questioning the quality and finish of this item, I took a chance and ordered one as I fell for the looks! In this instance, it is absolutely fine to judge a book by its cover. I carefully checked each component as I unpacked them, all present and in perfect condition. Assembly instructions are clear and straightforward, and on my own I had it built in under an hour. It looks fantastic, is reassuringly sturdy and is all finished in perfect condition. Delighted!

Edit: after having this for 2years and 8months, it’s just collapsed today. I don’t think we ever put that much weight on the cupboard, the vintage suitcases on top of it only contains Christmas decorations so are not heavy. Inside was just board games so not heavily loaded.It’s the base frame where the feet are attached that broke. I feel a bit sad cause I liked the look of this little cabinet, it’s a shame it’s not more sturdy and not made to last.Original review: I took the risk to order it despite of the bad reviews. When it arrived the first thing I've done was having a look if there wasnt any damaged and it was fine so I was happy ;-) and we assembled it (the doors are a bit tricky to attach but except from that we did it pretty easily). This is a bit smaller than I was expecting but it looks alright so I'm pleased with it!

Overall build quality of this unit is good. Problem with one leg bolt where the nut would not go on due to a defect with the threads. Build instructions were fair but not great - Although this is not a complex unit, the orientation of some parts wasn't that clear. Not all of the screws were supplied as per the parts list - some longer screws missing with extra shorter ones in their place. None of this stopped the build a functional and solid item but 'could have been better/easier'. Internal shelves rest on 4 pins (common with most furniture) but the ones in the centre go all the way through the middle panel and therefore are prone to slipping / being nudged out.

Right. This is no ikea product when it comes to flat pack delightfulness! Got all the way to putting the doors on and the holes are not in the right place to allow them to open!!! Grrr... Now I’ve got a drama in my hand try a fix that. I’m not sending it back coz I like it and I’ve spent ages building it. Oh and the screws weren’t thick or long enough! Actually Lomos sort this out and don’t sell anymore till you have. 🤷‍♀️

I recently ordered this product and are very happy with it. I noted the negative reviews when I was buying this but decided to take a chance considering the good price. The sideboard came flat pack and was very well packaged. Nothing was damaged and all the finishes were free of scratches etc. It was really easy to assemble and I thought the instructions were clear enough! I can highly recommend this product and was very happy with delivery through to quality!!

Was a little worried due to some of the reviews but liked the look and price so went for it. Very happy it’s heavy easy to put together and looks great. Very happy with product.

Very happy with this item, arrived in good time and no problems with any damaged goods.Looks great and sturdy when together.I was missing the magnetic strips that keep the two doors closed but other than that, would recommend this item.Re the missing magnetic strips... I did ask Amazon about the missing pieces and the solution was to return the item. By this point, you’ve easembled the whole thing and wasn’t worth it but a shame they couldn’t offer to send out the missing pieces.

The colour grey is a bit misleading, I’d say it’s more dark blue. The top of the unit is at the bottom, so no nice finish! Drilled holes in the wrong part of the unit. Very hard to assemble and needs gluing as very wobbly. The only reason we didn’t send it back, was the rigmarole of doing so. One plus, it’s pretty!!!!
